The Receipt Reprint program allows you to print/preview/email sales receipts and/or credit card authorization receipts on a receipt-by-receipt basis for any household in the system.
Note: The Bulk Print program provides a number of options for reprinting ranges receipts in bulk, if needed. Bulk Print queues receipts to a printer and provides hard copy only. It does not provide any options for emailing or previewing receipts.
To Reprint a Receipt using this Program
- Enter the number of the receipt you wish to reprint and skip to Step 4 below.
OR
Skip the Receipt Number and make selections in any/all of the fields below. Use the "i" and/or "?" Help icons for field descriptions, if needed. - When you have made selections in those fields, click Search. The browser will populate with receipts that match your criteria.
- Highlight/select the receipt you wish to print. The receipt you select will populate the Receipt Number field automatically.
- Make your selections in the Print Receipt, Preview Receipt, and Email Receipt fields. Again use the "i" and/or "?" Help icons for field descriptions, if needed.
- When ready, click Reprint Receipt or Reprint Credit Card Auth Receipt as needed.
Buttons on the screen…
Click Reprint Receipt to process your Print/Preview/Email option(s) for the receipt you selected in the browser above.
OR
Click Reprint Credit Card Auth Receipt to process your Print/Preview/Email option(s) for the credit card authorization receipt, if applicable.
To exit this program, click 'X' on the title bar. You will be returned to the Main Menu or the previous program.
ReceiptReprint_Tab1
Receipt Number (ReceiptReprint_ReceiptNumber)
This is a Mandatory field for the default VSI RecTrac Design. You cannot reprint a receipt until this field is populated.
Enter the number of the receipt you wish to reprint.
OR
Skip this field and make selections in any/all fields below. When you have made selections in those fields click Search. The browser will populate with receipts that match your criteria. Highlight/select the receipt you wish to print. The receipt you select will populate this field automatically.
When field has a receipt number in it by either method discussed above then select your Print options and click the appropriate button.
Note: If you are using Legacy Receipt logic and if your screen design includes the Legacy Receipt Number field then you can bypass this field and enter the Legacy Receipt Number for the receipt you wish to reprint.
Legacy Receipt Number (ReceiptReprint_OldReceiptNumber)
This field is applicable only if you are using Legacy Receipt Logic.
Leave the Receipt Number field at "0."
THEN
Enter the Legacy Receipt Number of the receipt you wish to reprint in this field.
OR
Leave both receipt fields at "0" and make selections in any/all fields below. When you have made selections in those fields click Search. The browser will populate with receipts that match your criteria. Highlight/select the receipt you wish to print. The receipt you select will populate the Receipt Number field automatically.
THEN
Select your Print options and click the appropriate button.
Note: When using a Legacy Receipt Number the system will try to find a SAReceipt record that has that number in the PreviousReceiptNumber field that matches the Site Code linked to the User's session. Site Codes are maintained in Site Management and are linked to User IDs in User Management. If a match is found the system reprints that receipt. If no match is found then you will get an error stating receipt number 0 does not exist.
Print/Email additional receipt documents (ReceiptReprint_ExtraDocs)
Select this option if you would like to reprint the additional receipt documents that were linked to the original transaction.
Receipt documents are maintained in Document Management and are linked to items in their respective module file management programs.
DeleteHousehold Number (ReceiptReprint_HouseholdNumber)
Click the Picklist icon to select the household for which you wish to reprint receipts.
You may leave this field blank to skip the Household check. Leaving this field blank will yield all receipts within your other ranges (Date, User, and Drawer) when you click Search.
DeleteSite Code (ReceiptReprint_SiteCode)
Click the Picklist icon to select a Site Code, if desired, to search for all receipts within your other ranges (Household (if one is selected) Date, User, and Drawer) that are linked to the Site Code you select.
You may leave this field blank to skip the Site Code check. Leaving this field blank will yield all receipts within your other ranges (Household (if ,one is selected), Date, User, and Drawer) when you click Search.Site Codes are maintained in Site Management.
DeleteBegin Date (ReceiptReprint_BeginDate)
Accept the default entry or click the Calendar icon to select a Beginning and Ending Date range, if desired. Receipts generated within the range will populate the browser below.
DeleteEnd Date (ReceiptReprint_EndDate)
Accept the default entry or click the Calendar icon to select a Beginning and Ending Date range, if desired. Receipts generated within the range will populate the browser below.
DeleteBegin User (ReceiptReprint_BeginUser)
Accept the default entry (<blank> to ZZZ) or click the Picklist icon to select a Beginning and Ending User range, if desired. Receipts processed by the User ID(s) selected will populate the browser below.
DeleteEnd User (ReceiptReprint_EndUser)
Accept the default entry (<blank> to ZZZ) or click the Picklist icon to select a Beginning and Ending User range, if desired. Receipts processed by the User ID(s) selected will populate the browser below.
DeleteBegin Drawer (ReceiptReprint_BeginDrawer)
Accept the default entries (0 to 9999) or overwrite with an alternate Beginning and Ending Drawer range, if desired. Receipts processed through the Drawers selected will populate the browser below.
DeleteEnd Drawer (ReceiptReprint_EndDrawer)
Accept the default entries (0 to 9999) or overwrite with an alternate Beginning and Ending Drawer range, if desired. Receipts processed through the Drawers selected will populate the browser below.
DeleteReceipt Records (ReceiptReprint_DataGrid)
The Receipt Records DataGrid will populate with all receipts that fall within range you select. Make selections in the available fields as necessary and then click Search.
DeletePrint Receipt (ReceiptReprint_PrintReceipt)
Select this option to reprint a hard copy of the receipt selected.

Printer (ReceiptReprint_Printer)
This field is applicable only if you are opting to Print Receipt.
Accept the default entry in this field or expand the Drop-down list to make an alternate selection if desired.
DeletePreview Receipt (ReceiptReprint_PreviewReceipt)
Select this option to have the receipt open in your browser in preview mode.
DeleteEmail Receipt (ReceiptReprint_EmailReceipt)
Select this option to email the receipt to the address listed. The receipt will be sent as an attachment.

Email Address (ReceiptReprint_EmailAddress)
This field is applicable only if you are opting to Email Receipt.

Enter an email address in the Freeform Email Address field.
The default entry in this field if any is the primary email address for the primary member of the household for whom you are reprinting the receipt. This is maintained on the Primary Person group of Household Update.
