PayTrac Monthly Fee Bank Charges

Problem
We are trying to identify the monthly merchant fees that are charged. Unfortunately, no description states whether a fee is a monthly fee statement or a settlement that has a higher refund amount than the sales amount. As of right now, the description comes in as VTSYSTEM SV9T.
Solution
The monthly fees charged to you are usually charged between the 3rd and 5th of the month, and they always come from the VTSYSTEM SV9T. If you search in your PayTrac Dashboard, you should be able to find a monthly fee settlement that matches the amount debited from your bank account. If there isn't a monthly fee settlement that matches, then you should be able to find a regular settlement that shows a negative amount matching what was debited from your bank account.
Steps For Solution
- From the RecTrac main menu, go to the PayTrac Dashboard.
- Click on the Settlements tab.
- Set Search Options to Search by Settlement Date(s).
- Look in the DataGrid for monthly fee settlements which always appear on the last day of the month and in a teal color.
- Find the settlement with an amount that matches this debit to your bank account.
- If none, search for settlements around the date range that may have a negative amount matching what was debited from the bank account.
You should now be able to match the monthly merchant fees from your Settlements tab on the PayTrac Dashboard to your bank account statement.
