In this video, we're going to review the bulk web settings change program in RecTrac. This is a program that you can schedule to automatically remove items from your website as they end. So you only have to worry about turning on items, you'll have to worry about turning things off for your WebTrac site. To get to the program, you can go to the menu and Type in the word bulk. And you can select bulk web settings change. And there's only a few settings in this program. One of them is a module setting. So for whatever modules you have on the web, you typically would want to select those modules, I'm going to pick activity in our example. And for my date options, I'm going to choose the current date through the current date. So today through today, there's a couple of different options, under dates, you can go do this based off of the beginning dates, or off of the end dates, I'm going to go with end dates my example, I'm going to turn on the change display on web settings. And I'm going to make sure my change display settings, to is set to No. And just to say this in a sentence, I'm going to change my web settings on my activities, to know for all programs that are ending today, and today being the date that this this program is actually going to run so if this is what you're looking for, you can actually do the next step of actually scheduling this out. If this is the check you want to do every day and to make sure your site is up to date, you can hit schedule at the bottom, you can give it a name. So I'll say bulk web settings change, we can typically set this up to run indefinitely pick every day of the week. And decide whether you want this to run the beginning of the day or maybe at the end of the day. So I'll choose 11:50pm In my example, and we'll be able to hit save and this would automatically start at the next available day and time. I'll hit cancel on this as it's already scheduled in my database. So this setting what setting is is actually changing. So I'm just going to pop into an activity section here. And at the bottom Under WebTrac Settings. This is the setting that we're actually changing with that program. So for any programs that are currently on the web, it's going to be set to Yes. And that utility based on those parameters is going to switch this setting to no for you. So that's the the update that it's actually making is that Field on the Screen. And if you want to verify if this is already scheduled in your database, or maybe how it's scheduled in your database, you can always jump to scheduled events management. I've already narrowed down in my filter here the bulk programs a bulk web settings change. So I can see that it's scheduled in this database. And on the right hand side, I can just verify the settings for how it's scheduled to make sure this is actually how I want to run. And I can make sure that in my database, I have it set up to accomplish what my needs are. So that's a quick review of the bulk web settings change program in RecTrac.
