In this video, we're going to walk through the process of creating a custom schedule on an activity section in RecTrac. From my menu, I'm just gonna Type in section and open up activity section management, and open up my one section here of youth soccer by double clicking on it. So by default, RecTrac is going to use the core info here to determine when and where this program takes place. So the facility I set the dates, times and the days of the week are all going to be factored in to that equation. The option at the bottom is for custom schedule on holidays, and that's to flag any skipped days or holiday days, or any kind of custom scheduled configuration that is needed. So in our first example, I'm gonna go to custom schedule and holidays. And I'm gonna add in a skip day. So based on the dates, my program actually have July 4, falling on a program date, and I know that won't be taking place. So I'm gonna choose July 4, and I'm gonna turn on this holiday Toggle. So RecTrac knows that day is now not included in the equation. I'll hit Save. And at this point, there is no save on this Screen, I can just hit close at the top, RecTrac is using a combination of the core Screen along with the custom schedule and holidays Screen to determine what can be reserved, and that'll determine what will be displayed on the website on the receipt. And again, what will be reserved at the activity Facility Reservation. If I want to take this a step further, if I needed a true custom schedule reservation, I can Click on that again, we typically recommend using the bulk Create option. This will use all the settings from the core Screen dates times days of the week along with the facility and allow you to either make changes here or lay that down as a starting point. So if I hit continue, you'll notice that all the dates for that front Screen have now been kind of loaded in on this activity schedule Screen. And from here I can make changes. So I can use the little pencil edit on the left hand side. If I know on one day that it's actually going to be taking place, let's say an hour earlier, we can actually move this time around. And any other adjustments that are needed can be kind of built out and changed through this custom schedule Screen. Now that I've introduced a non holiday record, several of those on this Screen RecTrac is only using this activity schedule to determine where and when this program is taking place. It's now ignoring everything on the core Screen and is 100% relying on this custom schedule Screen. I hit save on this record. And I go to open it back up the visual cue that you'll now have either with just a skip day or with a skipped day, or custom schedule combination is that this Button is now red. So that's your visual indicator saying that you're not really using this core Screen anymore. And you really want to visit this Screen for any updates to custom schedules or any changes that are needed. And that is how you create a custom schedule in RecTrac
