Xref Pass Scanning: Showing as Invalid despite Valid Pass

Problem
Xref pass scanning is rendering an invalid pass but pass is valid. Household # on xref is zero.
Solution
In testing, all RecTrac setup and data is correct. An attempt to re-Installing/Configuring the Scanner/App was unsuccessful. In house, I was able to install/configure the Koamtac and scan the same barcode with the correct data being parsed.
From Koamtac, we sent out a custom firmware to the department, who confirmed resolution. The problem was: Since Code32 barcode and Code39 barcode are similar, Code39 barcode was read as a code32 barcode. To address, we disabled code32 to enable reading the barcode clearly as a code39.
Steps For Solution
- Download the Koamtac App.
- Enable the Keyboard.
- Turn the Koamtac ON (Wait for 2nd beep, ~10 seconds).
- Scan Memory Reset.
- Scan Factory Reset.
- Turn Off Koamtac.
- Turn On Koamtac (Wait for 2nd beep, ~10 seconds).
- Scan MFI & Pairing Barcode.
- Connect Bluetooth.
- Open App & see it is connected within the App.
- Log in to Mobile RecTrac > Go to the Koamtac Keyboard > Open Visit Processing and Scan the Pass.
