3.1 Changing a Family Member's Fee Code and Residency when the Household Fee Code/Residency Code Changes
Problem
Is it possible to change the Household fee codes and residency on the Household Update screen and then have the system automatically change each individual member's fee codes and residency to reflect the change in the Household Update screen?
Solution
Yes. This is set/maintained on the Household profile. The field is labeled 'Family Member Option: If the Household Category Change, On Save' and is located on the Default Household Settings group.
Expand the Drop-down list and select the synch option for Changes to a Household's Category upon Save. When a household's category changes, the option you select here will determine whether changes are made automatically to the family members associated with that household.
It is likely you will want to select Synch Family Members Linked Only to the Changed Household or Synch All Family Members.
Use the 'i' or '?' Help icons for definitions of these options and make your selection. Then click Save.
Changes take effect immediately going forward, meaning the next time you change a Household's Category, the option you select here will be enacted. Changes do NOT take place retroactively.
Note: A similar option exists for Household Status (Active, Inactive and Batch) and options also exist for Team Members, in the event you use the League Scheduling Module.
