Can't bypass Availability Conflict - Additional Permission Required message when selling item on Touch POS

Problem
When attempting to sell an item in Touch POS, I get a permissions error message with no ability to bypass or enter credentials. Why is this message popping up and how can I prevent this from happening?
Error Message
"Availability Conflict - Additional Permissions Required"
Solution
You can update the Permissions profile active for your user and increase the Access Rights for the Processing View for the module of the item in question.
Steps For Solution
- Identify what item is having this issue and to which module it belongs.
- From the RecTrac main menu, go to Profile Assignments.
- Highlight the Permissions Profile active for your user.
- Click Update.
- Click the Table Permissions tab.
- Filter the Data Table column by the identified module.
- Locate Processing View in the Function Type column.
- If the Access Rights are set to None, change them to Administrator or With Matching Codes using the in-line edit.
- Click Save.
Return to Touch POS and attempt to sell the same item that produced the permissions error. You should be able to sell this item without interruption.
