Unit Code Management allows you to set up base units of measurement that are used throughout the system, as well as conversion factors for larger or smaller units. Units are used extensively for reporting and statistical purposes, so great care should be taken during setup.
Note MainTrac comes pre-loaded with a complete set of standard units. If you use Resource Management … Labor Management, then you need to add/edit Unit Codes for your Work Day, Work Week, and Work Year. These units are needed for Job Scheduling but will vary from Department to Department, so VSI does not offer default values.
Any default Code provided by VSI can changed to more closely match your Departement's needs.
