The AccessRelay - SmartJ profile establishes parameters for Access Control/automatic doors using a SmartJ relay. Generally speaking, this profile will be linked to the Access Control workstation you create during the installation of Access Control.

Making changes to a profile is an Audited Event. Additionally, Linking, Removing, Purging, and Cloning profiles are also Audited Events.

SAProfile_AccessRelay_SmartJ_Tab1
Enter The IP Address of the SmartJ Relay (SAProfileDetails_IPaddress)
Enter the IP Address of your SmartJ Relay. This will be the IP address that you assigned to the Reader using the TCP/IP Utility during setup/installation.
DeleteSmartJ UDP Port (SAProfileDetails_Port)
Enter the User Datagram Protocal Port for your Relay This should be the port that you assigned to the Reader in Data Port (UDP) Port field during setup/installation.
DeleteAllow Manual Override (SAProfileDetails_AllowManualOverride)
Select this option if you wish to allow clerks to manually open the Access Point when dwelling on the Access Control Monitor program.
De-select this option to disallow manual override.
DeletePulse Pattern is For Green Light, Actuate Relay For Entire Length of Pulse Pattern (SAProfileDetails_KeepRelayOpenDuringPulses)
Select this option to use the total number of seconds in the Valid Entry Pulse Pattern field as Green Light On/Door Open."
De-select this option to use the pattern in the Valid Entry Pulse Pattern field as "Green Light On/Door Open Green Light Off/Door Closed" for the duration of the pattern.
For Example: Your Valid Entry Pulse Pattern is: 3000 2000 3000 2000:
- With this option ENABLED the green light will be on and the door will be open for 10 seconds (3+2+3+2=10)
- With this option DISABLED the system will show a green light and the door will open for 3 seconds. The light will shut off and the door will be closed for 2 seconds. Then the pattern will repeat once.
Valid Entry Pulse Pattern (SAProfileDetails_ValidPulsePattern)
Enter your Valid Entry Pulse Pattern and Invalid Pulse Pattern value. This can be a single value or a comma-delimited list with no spaces.
The pattern you enter here is dependent upon your selection in the Pulse Pattern is for Green Light, Actuate Relay for Entire Length of the Pulse Pattern.
DeleteInValid Pulse Pattern (Red Light Only) (SAProfileDetails_InValidPulsePattern)
Enter your Invalid Pulse Pattern values. This can be a single value or a comma-delimited list with no spaces.
This is the time value in milliseconds for the red light flashing pattern for invalid entry. For Example: A flashing pattern 2000,1000,2000,1000 would equate to 2 seconds on, 1 second off, 2 seconds on, 1 second off for the red light.
DeleteKeep Open Time Blocks (SAProfileDetails_KeepOpenTimeBlocks)
Select the Facility Time Block Code you wish to link to this profile, if any. If a Time Block is linked to the profile, the Faiclity Keep Open event will keep the facility opened based on the selected Time Block. Facility Time Block Codes are maintained in System Code Management. Type = Facility Time Block.
