The Scholarship Maintenance program allows add, change, delete, and clone Scholarship Codes that can be used for tracking scholarship or grant monies received and used in RecTrac/WebTrac. Scholarships are set up in your system using funds received from businesses, philanthropists, etc.... You then issue Scholarships to selected patrons, and they can use them as payment. Scholarships can be used as payment for items in all RecTrac modules, as desired.
To issue a Scholarship to a family member, use the Family Member Scholarship program (Management Ribbon • System Management • Household Management Group).
To process a payment using Scholarship funds, a corresponding Scholarship Payment Code Type must be created in Payment Code Maintenance (Management Ribbon • System Management • Financial Management) and linked to your Payment profile.
