The File Maintenance Export screen enables you to export the selected records into an XML formatted file. This functionality enables you to transfer records between RecTrac databases. For Example: You use your Demo database to try out new ideas before making them available for your staff. Once you are satisfied, you export the design from your Demo database and import it into your Live database.

Highlight/select the Facilities you wish to export. By default, the DataGrid displays all facility codes in your database that you have Permission to see.

Make no selections from the DataGrid and enable the Use Facility Range option and make selections.
Note: In instances where you have a DataGrid and corresponding Range a selection in one or the other (or both) is required. Selecting nothing from the DataGrid and nothing from the Range yields a blank report or process.

DeleteInclude Tabs (FRFacilityExport_IncludeTabs_ComboBox)
Accept the default entries in this field or click the Combo Box to make alternate selections, if desired. This field allows you to choose which Tabs you wish to include in your Export.
By default, all fields on the Core and Comments tab are included in your Export, so no option exists for them on this field. This also includes the WildCard Cost Center field on the Fees tab.
- Fees - The Fees DataGrid.
- Rules - The Rules DataGrid.
- Questions - The Questions DataGrid.
- Email Features - The Email Features DataGrid.
Filename (FileMaintenanceExport_ExportFileName)
Enter a file name for your Export. This will be the name of the XML file you generate. Upon completion of the export process, the XML file you generate can be viewed/saved from the Document Center.
DeleteOverwrite existing file? (FileMaintenanceExport_OverwriteExisting)
Select this option to overwrite any existing file of the same name, if desired.
Upon completion of the export process, the XML file you generate can be viewed/saved from the Document Center.
Upon completion of the Import, the records you import will populate your DataGrid.
Delete
