Tee Time Type (TeeTimeGeneration_TeeTimeType)
Note: Step-by-step instructions for running this program are in the Header Help. Click the "i" Information icon and scroll to the top of the page.
Expand the Drop-down list and select the type of Tee Times you wish to generate.
- 18 Hole Reservations Only - Generates Tee Times for a single 18-Hole Course. Golfers are allowed to play 18 Holes only and must begin from the 1st Tee.
- 9 or 18 from 1st Hole Only - Generates Tee Times for a single 18 Hole-Course. Golfers are allowed to play 9 or 18 Holes but must begin from the 1st Tee only.
-
Crossover - Generates Tee Times for 18-Hole play on a single course but tee times are designed to allow Golfers to tee off from the 1st Tee and the 10th Tee simultaneously.
To use Crossover tee times you need to know the total amount of time required to play the full 18 Holes on the course. Additionally the Turn Time field in Golf Course Update must be populated. For Example it takes four (4) hours to play 18 Holes on this course. The Turn Time is 120 minutes and the Tee Times start at 6am. The Beginning Time will be 6:00am and the Ending Time will be 9:50am. The system will generate Tee Times on the 1st and 10th Holes from 6:00am to 7:50am and block out all Tee Times from 8:00am to 10:00am to allow the golfers to Cross Over and finish their last 9 Holes. Other Cross Overs could be generated from 10:00am to 1:50pm and then from 2:00pm to 5:50pm or you could switch to another Tee Time format at any time after 10:00am. - 9 Hole Front - Generates Tee Times for a single course allowing golfers to play nine (9) holes beginning on the 1st Tee.
- 9 Hole Back - Generates Tee Times for a single course allowing golfers to play nine (9) holes beginning on the 10th Tee.
- ShotGun - Generates Tee Times on multiple holes of a single golf course so multiple groups (typically foursomes) can tee off simultaneously and consequently finish their rounds at or near the same time. Shotgun Starts are generally used for tournaments and/or large private events. When generating ShotGun Tee Times be sure to enter your ShotGun Start Default Number of Groups per Hole and any Exceptions if needed.
-
3 Course Crossover- Generates 18-hole Tee Times using three (3) 9-Hole courses. When using this option you will enter Course 1 Course 2 and Course 3. The course order matters because the various 18-hole formats will be generated as follows:
- Front 9: Course 1 Back 9: Course 2
- Front 9: Course 2 Back 9: Course 3
- Front 9: Course 3 Back 9: Course 1
- 2 Course 18 Hole Reservations Only - Generates 18-hole Tee Times using two 9-Hole courses. Course 1 is used for the Front 9 and Course 2 is used for the Back 9. Golfers are allowed to tee off from the 1st Tee on Course 1 only.
- 2 Course 9 or 18 - Generates Tee Times for 9-hole or 18-hole play using two 9 Hole-courses. Course 1 is used for the Front 9 and Course 2 is used for the Back 9. Golfers are allowed to play 9 or 18 Holes beginning from the 1st Tee on Course 1.
- 9 Hole Course - 18 Hole Reservations - Generates Tee Times for 18-hole play on a 9-hole golf course. The system reserves the "Back 9" tee tiimes based on the Turn Time. For Example: If the turn time is 120 minutes and you generate a tee time for 0800am the system will block out the 1000am starting time as that is the time the 0800am group will be on the "10th" tee.
Note: If you select to generate tee times for Cross Over reservations the Turn Time must be at an interval that corresponds with your Tee Time Intervals. A golf course's Turn Time is maintained in the Turn Time field in Golf Course Update

Enter a value in this field. The value you enter represents the number of minutes between tee times.
For Example: You enter '7' in this field. You generate tee times from 7:00am - 5:00pm. A tee time will generated every 7 minutes starting at 7:00am, so the first tee time will be 7:00am, the second tee time will be 7:07, the third at 7:14, the fourth at 7:21 and so on.
Note: When used in conjunction with the TeeTime Interval 2 (minutes) field the value entered here will represent the number of minutes between "even numbered" Tee Times (i.e. the 2nd 4th 6th etc…tee times) of the day.
TeeTime Interval 2 (minutes) (TeeTimeGeneration_TeeTimeInterval2)
Enter a value in this field, if desired. When a value is entered, the number you enter represents the number of minutes between odd numbered" Tee Times (i.e. the 3rd 5th 7th etc… tee times of the day). This field works in conjunction with the TeeTime Interval 1 (minutes) field to establish the number of minutes between tee times through the day.
For Example: You enter '7' in the TeeTime Interval 1 (minutes) field and you enter '8' in this field. You generate tee times from 7:00am - 5:00pm. Tee times will be generated at alternating 7 and 8 minute intervals starting at 7:00am so the first tee time will be 7:00am. The second tee time will be 7:07 (7 minutes later). The 3rd tee time will be 7:15 (8 minutes after the 2nd tee time). The 4th tee time till be 7:22 (7 minutes after the 3rd tee time); the 5th at 7:30 and so on.
Leave this field at '0' to disable it. If you leave this field at '0 ' the TeeTime Interval 1 (minutes)field will be used for all tee time intervals..

This field is applicable only when generating Shotgun Start Times and only if certain Tee Times will contain a number of Groups other than your Default Number of Groups per Hold.
List any exceptions to your ShotGun Start Default Number of Group per Hole in this field. List exceptions using a ratio format where the first number is the Hole and the second is the number of Groups that will be starting on that Hole.
