and that sound, of course means that it is time for RecChat, even though it's Tuesday. So that must mean it's a special RecChat. And obviously it is because we look at just who we're joined by here. Patrick Hayden, Jordan Tipson, and a new face to his first RecChat ever a warm welcome to Zach Daly, I will try to avoid the confusion with the Zach's and most of the time today. We'll be talking to him. Cullen and Dave are also here to help us with any questions. And speaking of questions, we have the q&a portion down at the bottom of your Screen. So any questions that you have, please put them in there, we are going to pick and choose a little bit to try to pick the most broad questions possible. We're not anticipating we're going to get to everybody's question about every single thing. But we will try to do our best and to get the most information out there as we possibly can. So that's about it for my schpeel. I'll go ahead and hand it over to Jordan Tipson. And the rest of the team here.
Jordan Tipson 1:42
All right. Welcome, everybody. We're excited to show this for you today. So I'm going to share my Screen out and actually we're gonna let Pat, we're gonna let Patrick start here. So you should see my Screen.
Patrick Hayden 1:55
I think we've got you now. Thanks, Jordan. So as everyone hopefully, who's here today already knows, we're going to be talking about PayTrac. As Zach mentioned, with a half an hour of time, we wanted to keep things brief today to make sure that we don't take too much of everyone's time, but also make sure that we cover enough to answer some of the really broad questions that everyone will have and give people enough information to get at least initially informed about this solution that we're gonna be covering today. But very likely, a lot of you will have very specific questions about how this would or wouldn't fit into your particular needs. So one of the things we'll talk about at the end of the presentation today is what are sort of next steps if you're interested in here. And really, the next step is to have kind of a one on one conversation, we can dive right into the particular details that matter most to you and your organization. And again, as Zach said, if you have questions today, don't hesitate to put them into the q&a section. And we'll answer as many as we can. And as always, we'll follow up with a follow up email that will include a link to the recording here for anyone who wasn't able to attend as well as any answers to those questions that we didn't get a chance to cover during our time together. So Jordan, if you want to go ahead and go to the next slide, what is PayTrac?
So, again, we gave you a very brief explanation in the in the invitations to this wreck chat today, but PayTrac is our first foray as remote systems into a true kind of single source payment solution. So we as a company now are registered payment facilitator. And what that really means is that we're able to provide you an all in one payment solution where there's not a need for you to have any relationship, any involvement with any third parties, you can have a relationship only directly with Vermont's systems and through that relationship, we're able to provide you with an integrated payment solution for for credit card processing. And really, the reasoning behind this move is something we've been talking about for many years, is the kind of level of control that it gives us. And we'll talk a little bit more about that and subsequent slides in this presentation. But one of the first things that it allows us to do is to provide you with an both EMV and PCI compliance solution and really start right out of the gate here with being able to take advantage of some of the best hardware that there has to offer that we know is well tested, well proven, secure, and, you know really allows you to provide customers with those solutions that they expect when they're interacting with you today both on the E commerce side as well as when they're physically present with their cards in your kind of brick and mortar locations. So we'll get into a lot of these things in more detail as we kind of travel through and we'll make sure to take some time to actually show you how this works both WebTrac and RecTrac. And you know with this new solution with PayTrac. Again, single source solution, what does that really mean? That means that we are facilitating payments, you know on your behalf and by Doing so we're able to really control the kind of value that we add there and control the quality that we're able to deliver with that solution. And through that, make sure that we give you really powerful reporting that's accessible directly through RecTrac. Ensure that you can reconcile, not just your cash report and your GL report as you're accustomed to, or your end of shift reports, the RecTrac, but also your statements at the end of the month, and your settlements at the end of the day with your bank account with your RecTrac reports. And with your with your statements as well, so that everything can kind of come full circle. And if there are issues, you know, one of the things that we like to say is there's really just one direction to point the finger. And not only are we able to sort of take responsibility and know that we own helping you solve that problem. But we have the visibility and the insight to do so because we have access not only to the RecTrac information, and we you know, wrote all the code to create this solution. But we're also able to see what's happened on the back end what's happened with funding your bank account, and really see that full picture across the board and able to help identify and resolve any issues that do do surface as a result.
As an aside, you know, one of the big benefits of this is that those issues are, are few and far between. And something that we've really seen improving with the customers that we've gone live with already is that, you know, through this solution, we're able to provide something that's much more kind of robust and bulletproof and really has little to no issues that we've that we've uncovered thus our through our testing over the last year and through the customers that we've gone live with. And the last thing that I just want to note here that I think is something that's really should be important to everyone, and certainly for me and on the technology and product side of things is very important, is it this is kind of a major strategic focus for us on as a company, not only from a business perspective, but also really from a technology perspective, because we're putting a lot of our resources, Jordan spends a significant amount of his time on this. And this is something that we're really, really committed to. And I'll go into a little more detail on that. Jordan, if you want to go to the next slide. In terms of, you know, some of the why behind why PayTrac is a good solution. I spoke to some of this a little bit more broadly. But in terms of that focus, you know, we're able to really maximize what we can do to add value to our product to our solution and to your kind of business processes here. By minimizing the reliance on third parties, something that we've sort of struggled with, and I've struggled with, personally in the product management realm, is ensuring that everyone has a really powerful solid solution that doesn't cause you guys any sort of pain or, you know, discourage any sort of success with payments, whether it be having issues with double charges for your customers, or sort of missing transactions, whether that be on the processor side or on the RecTrac side. And by, you know, kind of capturing that level of control that we've captured here, with this payment solution, you know, we're really able to discover any of those issues that might exist and prevent them before they ever get released. And then part of that is that lack of reliance that we have on third parties now and really being able to have the full control from start to finish from end to end on this entire solution.
So not only is that a big benefit in terms of just having ensuring that we really have a much higher quality payments experience here, but also for your users, both your users and RecTrac, you know, at the Point Of Sale, who are you know, physically helping and facilitating your customers and taking payments, but also on the E commerce side and Jordan in a moment here is going to jump into actually showing how some of that works. But we've been able to sort of leverage all of our experience from the last many decades that we've had in working with different partners and payment solutions, and bring that all to bear on a brand new solution here and really start out with the best of what we've seen across all of our different partners in terms of solutions, both on the on the RecTrac on the WebTrac side. And then doing so helped make sure that we can continue to keep everyone compliant, whether it be PCI or EMV, and really make sure that we're staying ahead of the curve in terms of the solutions that we use the technologies that we rent, leverage and the hardware that's in play. So that we can make sure that you guys have as little effort as possible to remain compliant. And to make sure that you're also you know, serving the needs of your customers and letting them pay in ways they didn't expect. Whether it'd be dipping their card or tapping their card and not, you know, swiping a magstripe or having to manually key something in
in terms of reconciliation. And again, we're obviously cognizant of the amount of time that we have here and want to make sure that we get into some some live demonstrations of things and some opportunities for Questions on the talk about next steps. But one of the things we're really focused on here and again, Jordan is the product owner on the team that's really focused on the solution is making reconciliation as simple and as easy as possible. And what we want to do is ensure that as little time as possible, is spent with you reconciling RecTrac, banking statements, credit card statements, and all of those things that you need to make sure are really aligned to the penny on a daily, weekly monthly basis. Because that should be something that is just a given and not something you really need to spend a lot of time manually achieving. So we're have already worked a number of solutions into the system to make that as seamless as possible. And that's something that we're constantly engaging with the customers, we've gone live with PayTrac to continually add value there to make this easier and easier to reconcile what you're seeing on the right side of your page, there is a sample statement from PayTrac. You know, this is something that we've tried to make really easy to understand, we've put a lot of effort here into trying to make our statements as easy to understand as possible, as easy to read as possible. And it's kind of transparent as possible, not only through what we propose as pricing models, when we engage with customers to determine, you know, what's, what's a fair price for that particular customer, but also how we display that. And making sure that it is something that again, aligns with that kind of ease of use, and minimizing the time spent trying to reconcile that I spoke to earlier. And again, some of the tools that we provide in conjunction with PayTrac are really meant to kind of close that loop. And make sure that you have full visibility within RecTrac within the statement. And within some of the portals that we provide you access to the not just see what has transpired. But what is pending to be delivered to your bank account what has been funded recently, and things of that nature. So simplicity is kind of the name of the game, that's really what we're focused on here is providing you a solution that hopefully can be more of an afterthought than a focus, you simply take payments, it's part of life with what all of you do, and we want it to be something that isn't something that you have to spend any significant amount of time on. And with that, I'm sure we'll have some questions that come up. And, you know, we'll we'll get to those as time permits. And I'm gonna pass it over to Jordan, as his Screen below here.
Jordan Tipson 12:31
Alright, well, we'll get off that Screen for a second anyway. And we'll, we'll hop into the live Demo here. So Thanks, Patrick. All good things. Obviously, this this piece here is kind of the important piece and probably what a lot of you are looking for. So I'm going to just go through a transaction on WebTrac. And then also go through a transaction in house using one of my devices that I have here at my house. So I'm going to log in real quick.
Patrick Hayden 12:58
And there is no requirement to be a Duke fan and PayTrac. We actually discourage it
Jordan Tipson 13:05
tough year a tough year for the Blue Devils. But also, this is a good opportunity to talk just real quick about the new WebTrac If you're not using it, this is the new WebTrac view here. So the different kind of borders at the top here, the key piece is really the search here, when I get into my search, you'll notice the search is on the left side kind of a more modern look to it. But that's for another RecTrac I think there's some recordings out there that I would definitely I would definitely take advantage of if you haven't switched over, I haven't thought about the new WebTrac yet, but just makes it look a lot more modern, again with the search to the left here rather than at the top kind of taking away from the Screen. But back to PayTrac. So in this case, here again, I'm just going to do a simple transaction on WebTrac. So I've got this donation that I have set up here. One of the key differentiators with WebTrac, obviously with credit card processing, you know, today with PlugnPay, and other providers that we have, there's a fee to process credit cards. So one of the nice things with WebTrac, that when we design that or with PayTrac when we design this is we really kind of one of our sticking points during the whole last year process of this was we wanted a nice easy way for you being the customer of Vermont systems to pass credit card fees along to the customer to your patron if you wanted to. Again, that's the key keep us here is that if you want to, you do not have to pass fees on to customers, you can absorb those fees yourself if you want. But it is something that we got a ton of feedback on and kind of a limitation that we had with our other providers. That was really important to us. So I'm set up currently in my database to pass those fees on to the patron. So when I get to my payment Screen here, you'll notice that I have some of that in place, which is really interesting, and I'll definitely show that. But if I just go through and add this item to my cart, so again, my $100 here, this is what I have set up for this donation in my system when I proceed to checkout Again, you'll notice I do have service fees that are being passed on to the customer. So in this case, here, my transaction is $100. That's what you being kind of, you know, the the provider of this are going to receive when this transaction processes, so $100 will be deposited into your bank account, and then the 290, that the customer is paying, essentially, that's being passed on to the customer, they're paying that fee versus the opposite way, if you weren't passing service fees on this transaction would be 100. And then $2.90, would be taken out of the deposit for this specific transaction for that settlement of this item. So again, this is all completely up to you as as a, you know, a provider if you want to pass these fees on or not. One of the key pieces here is that if I'm not passing these fees on, then I won't even see any of this service fee stuff or in total fees paid today, this is just a comment code. So some of the feedback that we got from customers, that is if we do want to pass these fees on, we need an area where we can kind of explain maybe what that service fee is for the reason why we're providing that or charging that service fee. So again, in this case, here, we have a comment code that displays you're able to up that, update that and essentially kind of customize that to your liking.
Now one of the huge pieces with PayTrac. And I'm sure this is kind of a point of frustration for a lot of you out there is you know, with PlugnPay, when I go to now process this transaction, when I scroll down to the bottom and hit continue, I'm going to be redirected now to plug and play is basically a secure website where I plug in the information on my credit card, hit process, and then I'm going to be redirected back directly to WebTrac. And a lot of times, maybe that's where the communication fails, again, because we're going out to PlugnPay PlugnPay is coming back to us. So if there's kind of a blip in any, you know, portion of that process, that's where we sometimes see where Oh, it hit PlugnPay, but it didn't hit RecTrac. And then, you know, it goes back to the accounting side and having to settle these transactions. And that's where it's gets a little bit confusing. So one of the nice things and I think probably one of the huge value as with PayTrac. As you'll notice, as I scroll down here to make my payment, the actual credit card information is now directly on the Screen. So when I hit you know, I'm gonna plug that information in, when I hit continue here, the next thing that's going to happen is my receipt, there's not going to be a you know, redirect out to the payment processing page, and then a redirect back, it's just going to be one kind of seamless transaction, which is kind of a modern experience. Now you shouldn't have to be redirected to go to a different Screen to make your payment. So in this case, again, I've got my information in here, my service fees, we did display service fees at the bottom of the Screen as well, again, if you weren't passing on the service fees, that's not going to display there. But we just felt that you know, one more time just to show them and also in the mobile environment on the on a handheld or on your phone, you know, we want to make sure that you know if they're going right to the bottom of the Screen to put their credit card information, and that we just remind them that this service fee is there. So if I go ahead, and
Patrick Hayden 18:01
well, well Jordans filling out on those a question on how the service fees are calculated, you know, that's one of the things that if you wish to, we'd work with you on that solution, it can be, you know, combination of a percent and a flat amount. And again, we'll we'll talk at the end here, but what sort of next steps would be but one of the things we do is work with you to determine what's a fair rate for your payment processing based on the current makeup of your of your transactions. And then within that, you know, we can also help you to determine if you wish to pass on all or part of that to your patrons on WebTrac. And we can work with you to decide what that is whether it's all or part and again, it can be a combination of a percent and a flat rate.
Jordan Tipson 18:43
Yes, definitely. So again, I've plugged in my credit card information here. Again, this is a secure iframe within WebTrac. So technically, some of these fields or WebTrac. But then some of these fields are the secure kind of portal for us to enter to plug in the credit card information. This information is not stored anywhere in RecTrac. You know, so it's essentially like the current Screen that you see for plug and play now and you get redirected. But it's just built right into the Screen so that we lose that kind of redirect, and then the redirect back.
Patrick Hayden 19:14
And just worth mentioning there too. Not only is it not stored, but it's not even passing through your web server. So this portion of the page is an iframe that's stored securely by another provider. So even if even if you're on premise with your own web server, this information is never transversing your network or your web server at all.
Jordan Tipson 19:32
Yep. All right. So again, as I mentioned before, as I plug in my credit card now the next step in the last step really is just to hit my continue Button. So again, no redirect as soon as I hit continue, my transaction is processing now. And my next Screen here as you can see, is my confirmation Screen. So at this point, my transaction is complete. If something were to have happened if I didn't put the credit card in correct drive forgot a required Field. I just wouldn't be able to hit continue, it would stop me on that Screen and make me plug in the correct information and then hit continue where, again, sometimes with that plug and play Screen, you get to that Screen, and maybe you can't leave because you're missing a step, or something like that. So again, if we're getting to this confirmation Screen, it means, you know, essentially, everything's in good standing, if we take a look at the receipt.
Cullen Barber 20:21
So Jordan, it's gonna mention too, that if, with PlugnPay, because of the redirect the this the WebTrac session stuff is not always in parallel with the PayTrac Screen. So if you've ever had this situation where somebody's card was charged, and PlugnPay, but it wasn't an RecTrac. This, this Type of technology really should eliminate that we haven't seen it happen yet. And we don't expect it to happen, because it is all one session that we control now. So it's a huge plus. So if you've had a situation in WebTrac, where his card get charged, it's not an RecTrac, we usually knew it was some Type of session issue. You're not going to see that here. So it's a it's a big, big plus for sure.
Jordan Tipson 21:09
Yeah, definitely. Nice call out Cullen, Thanks. So here's my sales receipt, again, I did pass on the service fees. So you'll notice it really is important to us that we didn't change really the details of the receipt here. Because again, that service fee is essentially a fee on top of this, it's not really part of the transaction, per se. So you'll notice in here, my fees are still set to 100, my payment information areas still set to 100. Because that's what's going to show up on your GL reports your cash journal at the end of the day, because again, when you're passing those fees on, you're not really receiving those fees, those fees are essentially being used to pay for the processing of this transaction. So in here, again, we keep the information the same. So that way, when I bring up this receipt number, and I bring up my cash journal, or my GL and search this receipt, I'm always gonna see the 100. And then you'll notice at the bottom here, we give the detailed information of the actual transaction. So again, the receipt balance was $100. Go ahead.
Patrick Hayden 22:07
No, I was just gonna say and there was a question related that I think you kind of answered it, Jordan, but just to speak directly to it. Yeah, benefit cancellation occurs, you know, the cancellation is just reflecting what was actually paid for the fees, the $100 in this example. So the question about ensuring that the service fees were were not sort of refunded that's, that's an automatic and baked into the solution.
Jordan Tipson 22:28
Yep. So then in here, again, you see $100 transaction, the payment applied on this receipt to the service fees was 290. So the actual transaction itself was 102 90. And then again, another comment code on the receipt that you're able to update if you need to put information, you know, of why you're charging that service fee. And again, that's completely up to you guys. So the nice piece here is that the customer's credit card statement, when I look at my statement, for my sale done at the Jordan Recreation Center, I'm seeing 102 90 I'm not seeing you know, all these different, you know, providers in here and different things, it's all one nice smooth transaction that it's easy to follow for a customer. But yeah, so that's, that's the receipt for WebTrac. And again, it's really important to know I'm I'm showing examples here and I showed my example of passing the service fee on to the customer that by any means is not required. That is something for you to decide, as a business, if that's what you want to do is pass those fees on, it doesn't have to be done that way. And if I don't do it that way, then basically the receipt remains the same, the WebTrac experience remains the same, I don't have this information, it's smart enough to not like display that at the bottom with zeros down here, the receipt comment code goes away. So it is smart enough to know, you know, if those fees are being passed, then to display it, if not, then to not display it because your patron shouldn't need to know any of that information if you're not passing that stuff along. So that's the WebTrac side of the house. And then on the RecTrac side of the house, it's very similar. So if I go through here, I've got a you know, just a touch Point Of Sale Screen, I'm gonna process a transaction. So if I just choose this item here, if I go ahead and hit my payment Button, so what I have here, and I'll show the hardware in a second on the next slide once I finish up, but what I have here is an ISO I'm sorry, this is the link 2500. So this is the mobile unit. As you can see, it's very small, it's kind of up to date with the times it's not a clunky, big piece of hardware, it's about the size of a credit card, and maybe two or three credit cards wide. So this is a mobile unit that I'm just connected to the Wi Fi here. And this is point to point encrypted. So anything that I do with this unit, it's not going to actually pass that information directly to RecTrac. This isn't an obviously anyway connected to my computer or you know anything like that. So if I process this transaction, as soon as I go to my payment Screen, I'm actually going to go back and just go a little quicker. I'm just gonna hit ivisa Button. So as soon as I do that, oh boy, I lost connection here. Give me one second
Zach Malloch 25:13
while you're getting back in Jordan, there was a question from barber about, if there any differences to the payment types accepted or methods. So difference was card brands is basically how I'm interpreting that.
Jordan Tipson 25:27
What's What's the question with that? Sorry
Zach Malloch 25:29
whether there's any difference between,
Patrick Hayden 25:31
I started answering and I was muted, sorry. I said, Well, Jordan gets his hardware up, I'll answer that. And nobody was hearing me because I was muted. So the differences are that you're gonna have more options. So if you let's say, you accept, you know, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex today, and you want to continue to accept that you certainly can accept all those, you know, the thing that's going to be new is that in now, you're also going to be available to through the devices like what Jordan is showing there, except things like Apple pay Google Pay, etc, and do so through, you know, tap to pay through the NFC capabilities as well. Yep. Just the next question. Yes. And we can certainly, again, provide more details on that in the in the follow up. And also, obviously, in a in a one on one folks can can dive into that. But at a high level, all the above and certainly all the Apple pay Google Pay, etc. Through through NFC or tap to pay.
Jordan Tipson 26:29
Yeah, just one more second, I just had to, I think I had lost connection for a minute there with everything, hence my spinning Screen on my, my PowerPoint, but just give me one second, I think I'm back up now.
Patrick Hayden 26:42
So Well, Jordan is bringing that up. But the nice thing here is that there isn't any connection, as he said directly to the computer. So that device, he's using his devices on Wi Fi, that's the link 2500 that we'll take a look at in a second. And the other device that's more the kind of hard mount device, that's harder to, you know, harder to show on the on the video Screen is the ln 3000. And that's a device that's direct to Ethernet. So none of these devices have any communication directly with the computer. It's all via kind of, you know, web protocols that we're speaking to that are then talking down to the device, as opposed to any direct connection through the PC. Again, you know, another way to minimize your PCI scope.
Jordan Tipson 27:22
All right, sorry about that. So I'm back up and running here. I don't know, I'm not sure what I did. But anyway, so again, I'm just in RecTrac. Now I've got my, my small my small mobile unit. So as soon as I process my credit card, I just have a hot Button on my touchscreen, basically, I get a second on my Screen there. And then at this point, now you'll notice my Screen just lit up on my my unit. So at this point, I can dip my card, I can tap my card, I can swipe my card on the top, I could use my phone, I have a gift card here, so I'm just going to do that. So if I go ahead and swipe this, so you'll notice it just swiped. It's asking me just to, you know, credit or debit. So let's just say credit for now. And then I have it set to just confirm amount, I don't have to do that with COVID. A lot of times, you know the least amount of prompts possible, but I'm just gonna hit yes to process and then at that point, it's been approved. And now in RecTrac, you'll notice my receipt is going to pop up in one second. So at that point, my transaction has finished the total time again, you know, I kind of went a little bit slow, but the total time from me kind of adding an item to my cart and actually hitting the Process Button, my visa Button and the device to act activate is about one second. And then depending on how many prompts on the Screen that you have, you know, it could take a second or two to have to say yes to confirm the amount, but you don't have to do any of that. So there's about a second there. And then you know about a half second to come back. I think I'm set to probably not just display my receipt. So that's why it didn't pop up.
Patrick Hayden 28:56
So just to clarify, there was another question that came in on it. So yes, Jordan swiped just because of the card he has a gift card that he has is is an example that does the the swipe but EMV chip cards as well, absolutely as well as tap to pay NFC, whether that be through phone, like Jordan said or through the car that can be tapped.
Jordan Tipson 29:20
Looks like I got something wrong with my receipts in any event. So yeah, as you can see here on the bottom, there is a spot on the bottom, I can get my card again, I could tap my card on the top or I could swipe along the top or use my phone, you know for that Type of payment,
Patrick Hayden 29:35
or if needed key in the card number that just came in as well. Whether it's a phone order, or you know a situation where someone's card is potentially unreadable. All of the units that we support, everything that we just said about acceptance is true for the unit that Jordan just showed that link 2500 mobile unit. It's also all true for the hard mount units as well. So there's total parity across the two primary devices that are offering in terms of the methods through which you can pay.
Cullen Barber 30:04
I think one big thing for plug and pay customers is you no longer Type credit cards in, typically in a back office station unless you have one of these units, right. So that's a difference. So you're, you're putting when you're doing sales, you're going to be entering card information, if it's a male in phone in that kind of thing, it's going to be done through one of these devices and not on your computer keyboard. So that's, that's a change for some of you PlugnPay users.

That is correct. So I just wanted to pop back to the PowerPoint that we have. So again, the unit that I have was the one over to the right on this Screen. So that's the link 2500, completely wireless, the unit to the left is the ln 3000 model. So this is typically a hard mounted unit, it's got a power supply, it does need to an Ethernet connection. But the key piece here is that it doesn't actually physically connect to your computer, there's not like a USB that also needs to connect to the computer, it's completely separate. You know, it might be right next to the computer at the front desk or whatever it may be, but it's actually not talking in any way directly to the computer. Both of these units are point to point encrypted. So that's the key piece here with PCI compliance. And then we kind of went through with you know, some of the contactless options for both units. They both allow for all those, the dipping of the cards, the tapping of the card, swiping of the cards, and then also any sort of mobile payments, as well.
Patrick Hayden 31:33
So there's a couple questions that came in on on price, we'll make sure that we send that in the follow up will actually send you right to a site where you can view more information and see the prices on both of these units. And then in the interest of time, and if you want to make sure we you know, there's obviously is more questions coming in. And I think we knew that a lot of people would have a lot of questions and, and things that are, you know, unique, unique to each organization as well. So with that, in terms of what the next steps are, for folks who want to discover more, we can maybe jump right to the last slide here and give Zach a chance to introduce himself and talk about where folks can go from here.
Zach Daley 32:10
Oh, thanks for having me fill in. Right as we're running out of time, guys from chat, I appreciate that. But yeah, so if you want to learn more, and really dive into your own specific setup, and kind of a more personal consultation, send me an email, ZACHD@Vermontsystems.com. And we'll find some time to sit down go through your setup, we'll kind of cover some of this information with anyone else that's involved in your decision making processes, so that everyone's on the same page. After we conduct one of those kinds of in depth sessions, what I'm going to ask and give you guys a little bit of homework for is to send us some of your current monthly processing statements from your back end. So that we can analyze them. And as Pat alluded to earlier, kind of figure out what your initial card transactional makeup is. So that way we can kind of make a fair proposal in terms of a rate for you. And that's kind of a you know, like I said, a collaborative process that we go to, with everyone. So once I get that data, and if 2020 was a little bit of an outlier, we will accept, you know, 2019 data, just to kind of get an idea of your normal workflow in those statements. And that's where we go from there afterwards. So that's kind of the next steps. And then, like I said, then there's implementation to discuss, but I pass it over to Cullen at a future date.
Patrick Hayden 33:29
So and if we if folks are still hanging on, you know, there are some use more questions that have come through. And if maybe, Jordan, if you want to just jump back one slide to cover a couple things, like when I'm gonna make sure everyone heard, how they can kind of move forward. But there's worth mentioning here, we talked about the service fee piece, we talked about the kind of partial service fees, which is actually being released in the in release that's coming out today, actually. But in addition, you know, something just to make folks aware of is this PayTrac solution is going to go beyond just credit cards that one of the next things that we're gonna be doing here is incorporating e check, or ACH payments into this as well. So that you can have more of a kind of automated integrated method for taking payments for checks, whether that be for recurring or even for the kind of one off check payments over over WebTrac. And then as I spoke to earlier, kind of some of the deeper integration for reconciliation beyond what we've already done. And then also, for those of you who do a lot of recurring billing, one of the things on our roadmap is to add the ability to automatically update cards on file. So instead of you having to chase folks down and, you know, get their new card when one's been replaced, or expired or stolen, whatever the case may be. And we have a methodology that we're going to take advantage of to be able to automatically update those cards on file so that you don't chase those folks down. Again, especially for those cards that are used for installment billing because we know for a lot of you that's a heavy use case for your credit card processing. And there was a question about that as Certainly, it's something that works for installment billing as well. I mean, PayTrac covers every credit card processing capability that you may currently be using through any other integrated credit card solution. And for someone who asked about the the Wi Fi solutions, that Lync 2500 Will, you can connect it to any Wi Fi that you have. So if you have a secure Wi Fi for internal usage versus your public Wi Fi, in your, in your buildings, you can absolutely connect to the secure Wi Fi as well. All right.
Zach Malloch 35:32
Well, I think I'll jump in here now that we're towards the end, you guys are great. It's just kind of like RecTrac, on autopilot handed off to everybody on this side. But we're definitely towards the end of our time today. So if there are any other last sort of statements that Patrick Jordan or or Zack would like to kind of impart, I can use that time now. Otherwise, yeah.
Patrick Hayden 35:56
Thanks, everybody, for joining us and look forward to talking with you more about this. And we're really something something I'm very excited about. And it's been really a pleasure to work with the customers that we've already taken live with us and see how much of the kind of relief it's been to them to, to move to something where they can get answers quickly and have at this point, across all customers, essentially no, no issues whatsoever with reconciliation of cards across RecTrac and WebTrac. And actual credit card statements. So yes, I did.
Zach Malloch 36:27
And we do have all of these questions are recorded. So we'll be able to respond to each of these will have the recording of this session posted in the RecChat archives, by the middle of the week, or by tomorrow. And then I'm assuming a follow up would be there before too long. Whenever we can get to that and consolidate all of this for everybody. So
Cullen Barber 36:48
if we have eight customers live now, I guess that's the number we have fully live and on it now. And we've got basically every week for adding others. So it's been very successful so far. And there's Pat and others have mentioned, it's been very easy to support from a support standpoint. So we love that. And I think I think David had one question. Yes. Can we continue to do installment billing? And the answer is, is yes. But we should talk a little little more about it.
Zach Malloch 37:22
Right, right. Yeah. Next step is, is those further more personalized conversations, but I think that this was a lot of information stuck into a half hour plus just a tiny bit Window. That's great. Got a lot of questions answered. So once again, thank you, everybody, for participating. Thank you to our panelists for attending, and we'll be following up with everybody. Talk to you soon.
Patrick Hayden 37:46
Thank you.
Jordan Tipson 37:46
