The Dictionary Listing allows you to print information about the tables and fields that are employed by the RecTrac application. It might be helpful to access this program if you are trying to create a custom template in Template Design Studio, as each Table and the fields that populate it can be viewed and described. This is also a good report if you run Other Database Connections (ODBC) to populate 3rd party reporting tools.

The Report Output Listing program contains a library of VSI-Standard reports as well as whatever custom reports your department has created.

From the bottom of the screen…
Click Process to run the Dictionary listing.
Core Criteria
Tables to Include (Blank = All) (DictionaryListingReport_TableList)
Click the Combo Box icon and select the RecTrac Table(s) you wish to include on the Dictionary Listing report.
OR
Leave all options de-selected to Select All."

Print Field Detail (DictionaryListingReport_PrintFieldDetail)
Select this option to include detailed information for each field in the table(s) selected. Detail information includes Field Name, Field Label, Data Type, Field Format, and Field Type.
DeletePrint Possible Field Values (ComboBox) (DictionaryListingReport_PrintPossibleValues)
This option is applicable only if you opt to Print Field Detail.
Select this option to include field values for Combo Box field types on the report. If the field type is Combo Box the report will list the various options.
DeletePrint Table Summary (DictionaryListingReport_PrintTableSummary)
Select this option to include Table Summary information for the table(s) selected. The summary information includes Table Name, Field Count, and Index Count only.
DeletePrint Index Details (DictionaryListingReport_PrintIndexes)
Select this option to include Index information for each field in the table(s) selected. Index information includes Index Name, Primary flag, Unique flag, Word Index, and Index Fields.
DeletePrint Sequence # Information (DictionaryListingReport_PrintSequences)
Select this option to include Sequence information for each field in the table(s) selected. Sequence information includes Sequence Name, Initial Value, Current Value, Minimum Value, Maximum Value, Increment, and Cycle OK flag.
