In this video, we are going to review the Credit Balance dashboard in RecTrac, you have the ability to create credits on account. And the Credit Balance dashboard gives you a tool to manage those credits. On the left hand side, I can Type in the word credit in my menu and I can select Credit balanced dashboard. The dashboard breaks down into two different areas and the left hand side, I can use my search filters to kind of isolate different records, this could be individual households, or it could be a credit date for a certain date period that you're looking for. On the right hand side, you'll see the results of your current household credits. So very simple example in my database, I just have two household credits. And I can see instantly the details associated for when they were created, the dollar amount that they're created for and what is currently remaining. At the bottom, you'll instantly get a liability snapshot for what is remaining for household credits for all the records in the data grid.

If you highlight an individual record in the dashboard, you'll see on the right hand side, we have a pop out for some additional settings we can view and control. The first one is credit restrictions. In RecTrac, you have the ability to set restrictions for credits. And my example I have my module restrictions are currently set to SA, meaning their system credits that can be used for any item in the system. So kind of the Universal Credit is what we're currently set for. And that's the most common kind of credit restriction or lack of restriction, we would typically see, you do have the ability to create credit restriction system codes in the database, or if you are looking to kind of isolate and be able to create credits for very specific areas or modules within RecTrac that can be done through system code management. The next option is the print receipt. So if you're looking to pull receipt from the credit creation receipt, you can do that from here. The next option down is refund finance, you have the ability to actually process a refund finance for finance cutting a check at a later date, you can process that right from this Screen.

And you have the ability to do that for multiple records too. So if there's multiple ones that you want to process this for, you can multi select, and you'll still have the refund finance option. And then the final option on the right is the usage history. So if you're troubleshooting or digging into the details for the remaining amount on an individual credit, you can Click on usage history and that'll just give you a breakdown of all the receipts involved. And from this Screen if you need additional information for what the credit was really used for, you can actually highlight one of the line items and you can get to the print receipt Button on the right hand side to pull additional informations on that credit usage. And that is a review of the Credit Balance dashboard in RecTrac.
