You may find after your test migration that when you go to process a transaction and add something to your shopping cart that you run into this informational box that mentions that you don't have permission to process on the default drawer number. And it's looking for credentials, and you'll likely won't be able to override those credentials. So this is a setting in 3.1, that prevents processing against a default drawer number. And the idea behind this setting is that you want typically you want to be processing against a site specific drawer number or a workstation specific drawer number. So in the test database, you typically don't have VIC installed. And that is going to mean that we won't be able to recognize your the workstation you're working on, and likely won't be able to pick up the drawer number that's linked to your workstation. So some or all of your users might be running into this after your test migration. To resolve this message, you can hit cancel on the message and go in your menu on the left, Type in the word user. And you can open up user management. And then you can open up the individual user that's running into that message. And under miscellaneous settings, you can individually turn on the allow processing on default drawer. So this will ignore that permission and allow you to do transactions regardless of what drawer it's going against. So you can turn that on individually, I would recommend in your test database that you might want to turn it on across the board. To do that, you can Click on More at the bottom. And then you can select Bulk Change. All users will be listed in the top box, you can go to Options. Select all rows. And in the bottom box, you can highlight allow process on default drawers. And then you just like the Add option should default to yes. And you can hit continue. And then I'll move the change to be completed in the middle box in the bottom. And you can hit process bulk change on the bottom right. So this will update things in bulk to allow all your users to process regardless of drawer. This is something that is perfectly acceptable in your test database, but might not be a change you want to make in your live database depending on how you want your drawer system to work.
