In this video, we're going to be going over how to reprint a receipt. So right now I'm in global sales, and I just made a transaction toward this Jane Doe household. So if I go to my purchase history, I can see this as my latest transaction, the Transaction Date column shows eight, three, which is today. So in order to reprint a receipt, the easiest way to find it is if you do have the receipt number, there is some other ways you could sort by the household and things like that. And you can probably find the receipt. But if you know the household that was sold to you could go to purchase history. And we do have a current receipt column there. So as you can see, this is receipt number 294. So we would just note that down, and we'd need to open up the receipt reprint area, receipt, reprint. And there's a couple other different ways you can reprint a receipt. So if I already have it here in purchase history, you can reprint right from here.

So reprint receipt, first would just be if they maybe had a purchase and then a cancellation. Also tied to this. Choosing the first option would print the purchase receipt, printing the receipt, reprint last would be printing that cancellation receipt because that was the last transaction tied to it that happened. So I can show you here and then you obviously have the option to print preview or email. So this will generate a previewed receipt of the purchase, haven't done a cancellation. So either Button probably would have brought up this receipt here. And then the other options if they did pay for it with a credit card, you can do the credit card author receipt. And if there was a ticket tied to it, you could reprint the ticket as well. But the main receipt, reprint, we do have a separate program for it if you're wanting to kind of do a little more filtering to find a receipt. But if I didn't know that and wanted to do through the receipt, reprint, I could say receipt number 294. And I don't even need to use these search areas here. If I'm typing in the exact receipt number in this Field, the print slash email additional receipt documents Toggle is just if they had any documents linked to the sale do we also want to print those as well. Maybe there was a receipt document emailed to them or something of that nature.

And then down here, we get the again do we want to print it preview or email if you're printing, you'd want to have make sure your printer set up through RecTrac. And it would appear in this list. If not, you'd probably be previewing it or emailing it. One thing note is the email receipt will automatically link the customer's Primary Email link to the receipt number. So you might just want to be careful of sending the customers see if you really just want to view it for an internal reference there, you can choose the Enter freeform email address, and then this one would not send it to the customer, it would just send it to the email you have in this Field here. So I'll just preview it. reprint receipts gonna print the standard receipt out. And then again, we have the reprint credit card author see option as well. So that's gonna do the same receipt just through the receipt reprint program. But one of the reasons you might be coming in here more is to use the search options. So you can use the household number option and say, Oh, I know the receipt number was tied to one household, for example, but I don't know the exact receipt number. So I can put in the household number and Click Search.

So we can see that one had no sales. And actually would want to change the begin date because now this is just looking at today's date. So if I bump this back, I might start seeing some receipts in here. So there's one right here. So a couple different ways you could do it, you could then not use a household number and just look at, you know, all receipts for a certain date. And you can scroll through. And it's got the receipt number listed here the date, time user and amount. The other option is filtering by the user who sold it. So right now if I leave it as blank disease, easy that saying look through any of my users to see who did a sale, you could just narrow it down to a couple users or one user maybe if you knew it was a web transaction, you could do www to www for the user range. Same goes for drawer. If you few new drawer it hit then you could filter by drawer. Most commonly I think you'd be able to track down the receipt through purchase purchase history hopefully and Type it directly in if not maybe just picking a date range near the transaction occurred and and searching through there.
