In this video, we will review the topic for reviewing module questions. After the migration, you will have certain questions that are set at the module level that will cover all the different functions that are available in 10.3. And often we find that those different questions were not used in the old version and aren't needed in the new version. So we'll highlight that now and show you how to disable those. And our example I'm going to open up the SuperGrid. And I'll pick the internal household. From the SuperGrid, I'm going to Click on any available facility and double Click and then add to cart. This brings up our prompt Screen and highlights the different questions that are currently available for the facility module, we have our standard reservation purpose that would have been available in 10.3 that is most oftenly used. In addition, we have maintenance, comments, preservation comments, and additional tags and settings that can be applied to a Facility Reservation. Maintenance comments are most oftenly used when maintenance departments require some sort of either room prep or Field prep. And they can be accomplished with actual preset codes or with just freeform text fields. And more often not, you would use one setting or the other and you wouldn't necessarily need both. But you could use both, if desired. Similarly, with reservation comments, these are either preset codes, or freeform reservation comments that are specific to the reservation. And below there we have tags for event types that can or that are used or sometimes not used. And the same option goes for print options, and site types. In this database, I have results for each one of these. So at one point they were used. But after discussing with the customer, we found that they were used at one point, but they're not currently used anymore. So we actually have the ability or option to go turn off these options at a minimum, since they no longer need them. Linked to reservation number or existing reservation number is a common one that we would still leave available. So if I make one reservation, and a customer calls up, and they want to add to that reservation, this gives me the ability to put in that reservation number and have it get tied back to a reservation from a previous transaction. So that's sometimes can be a helpful feature to leave turned on. And then typically, we would turn off the display reservation on WebTrac and the web event in most scenarios. So how do you customize the question list after your migration, I'm gonna go ahead and hit cancel. And I'm going to go to my menu, Type in set and open up set management. Then set management, I'm going to Type in the keyword of base in my description column, and then switch over to contains and I'll see my base questions sets for all for every module. And this is where you can go through each module and adjust the questions where it applies. So if we stick with facility based questions in our example, and I open up that set I can see all the questions that were just displayed. At this point, I could go through and turn off the ones that I no longer want. So for now, I'm just going to inactivate web event, display online, site, print option, and Type and I'm also going to decide in this database that I don't need the different codes and I'm just going to use the freeform fields so I've been activated the ones I feel like I no longer need I'm gonna go and hit save on this and to illustrate this if I go back to the SuperGrid and go to remake a reservation double Click And then add to cart. Now my question list is much more manageable. I have my purpose, I can choose to put a reservation comments, I can choose to add additional reservation comments above and beyond what's already covered. And I can link back to an existing reservation should I need to. Above and Beyond this, you can add additional questions to the individual items where they make sense. But these base questions would be available and would be asked on every reservation. So the same steps would apply for every module, we recommend going through each module that you are currently using opening up activity based questions, for example, and deciding what to do for each of these questions. So these were all functions that existed in 10.3 that we can decide to use in 3.1. Or if we ignored them in 10.3. We could come in here and activate them and choose to ignore them in 3.1. And hopefully, that'll clean up the reservation and registration processes in the new version.
