In this video walk through the topic of the report Output listing program in RecTrac. This program displays all of the report output listings in RecTrac in one screen and also provides for the VS standard reports. A preview of what that output would look like. This is a great tool for new users that just want to view what reporting options are available In RecTrac and help to find the report that's really going to meet their needs.

From the menu on the left, you can click on the pop out and type in output and you can select report output listing. The screen breaks down into two areas. You have your listing on the left hand side and you have the preview panel on the right. The report output listings are going to be grouped together by module and functionality.

So for example, I have a roster group on the left hand side and I have everything related to rosters underneath it. And from here I can click on a given output record and the right hand side you'll see it populates for the VS standard outputs a sample of what the actual output might look like. So you actually see the fields that are on the report, how they're laid out again with the sample data.

So you can now kind of click through and hopefully find a report that's going to meet your needs. In addition to the output records being grouped together on the left hand side, you can also choose to just filter down with the filters at the top. So, for example, if I'm looking for a membership report, I can type in membership and see that I have the different outputs that are listed for membership.

And in addition, I could also type in cash for Cash Journal, so I can easily find a given output record if I know a keyword that I'm looking for. And G.L. would be another example. So I can see that all the reports that have the keyword of G.L. in their report output name. The GL distribution dynamic was a very common report.

Violate that record. You can see a preview again of the detailed records on this. And at the top you'll actually see that there's many reports are going to have both a detailed and summary output option. So in this case, I've got the detailed records listed on this report in this preview. But if I switch over to summary, I can see how this is going to change and summarize by G.L. code.

So two different versions of a given output, and this allows you to view both sides of it and then determine which one is going to work best for you at the bottom on the right hand side, once you find an output that you feel is going to meet your needs, you can hit run report. This will give you a pop up with the report criteria screen already selected, and that's based off of the record you've picked in the background.
00:02:25:7 - 00:02:48:0

And then we also offer you to choose and select a report criteria template. If there's one selected for that report, If there are no current report templates, then it's a blank listing and you have the option to skip this pop up or just hit continue as needed. And this will actually open up the report screen for you and automatically allow you to set your criteria and run the report for what your needs are.

And that is a walk through of the report output listing in RecTrac.
