If you get a response from your bank that the hash total of the ACH file is wrong, the following provides a list of ACH profile combinations. Try each in turn until you get a positive response from the bank. One of these options WILL work, however, you will need to try ALL of the combinations until you find the right one.
Try these first four (4) options with NO carriage return on the last '9' Record. De-select the CR/LF After Last Record option (i.e. turn it off).
- 6c Records are included on the ACH profile • Layout tab & Unique Routing Numbers option is selected for the Hash field.
- 6c Records are included on the ACH profile • Layout tab & All Routing Numbers option is selected for the Hash field.
- NO 6c Records are included on the ACH profile • Layout tab (i.e. ALL 6C records have been deleted) & Unique Routing Numbers option is selected for the Hash field.
- NO 6c Records are included on the ACH profile • Layout tab (i.e. ALL 6C records have been deleted) & All Routing Numbers option is selected for the Hash field.
Try these second four (4) options using a carriage return on the last '9' Record. Enable the the CR/LF After Last Record option (i.e. turn it on).
