When processing Rentals we get a "must link valid location profile" error message

Problem
After updating to version 3.1.10.25.00 we noticed that when attempting to process rentals in both WebTrac and RecTrac, we are unable to complete the transaction due to the following location profile error.
Error Message
"A valid location profile must be linked to continue"
Solution
This error is caused by a missing location code within the active location profile. For WebTrac transactions under the WWW user, the location profile is often linked on the default level. For RecTrac transactions, however, any location profile being used by your organization must have a linked location code in the given field to correct this issue.
Steps For Solution
- From the RecTrac main menu, go to Profile Assignments.
- On the left-hand side, expand Location Profiles.
- Highlight a Location Profile from the list.
- Click Update.
- If you notice the Location Code field in the profile is blank, add a placeholder Location Code to this field.
- Note: We recommend if you are not linking an already existing location code in your database to make the facility location code a generic placeholder that can encompass the organization
- (i.e. City of Troy would maybe name the profile City of Troy as the code and description as these locations can print on receipts and this will make the most sense to your customers)
- Click Save.
- Repeat steps 3-6 for each additional Location Profile
If you are processing in Global Sales, log out of your session of RecTrac, close your browser tab, re-open RecTrac, and log back in. Return to Global Sales and attempt to process a rental from the rentals tab. The transaction should now process without error. If you are processing a rental through WebTrac, attempt to add the rental item to the cart, it should now process without error.
