10.3 and 3.1 Boca Printer Will Not Print Tickets Unless Set as Win Default Printer
Problem
Tickets will not print during POS sales unless the Boca printer is set as the default printer in Windows and the Ticket Device has Win- linked as the printer.
Solution
The Boca printer was called Win-Boca in Windows Printers and Faxes, so in the Ticket Device, it read as Win-Win-Boca. We changed the printer name from Win-Boca to Boca in Windows Printers and Faxes, and then re-linked the printer (Win-) in the Ticket Device. Customer was then able to print.
