This table lists the various Criteria Types available in RecTrac for Fees and Rules.

Fee/Rule Criterion | Definition/Used for |

Activity Prerequisite | Allows you to list Activities/Sections a family member must have taken prior to being allowed to register for the current program. Pass/Fail logic is available. |
Address | Allows you to set requirements based on City, State, or Zip Code. |
Advanced | Advanced fee and rule options that allow you to create Fees and Rules for such circumstances as (but not limited to):

Age | Allows you to set Age requirements. |
Birth Date | Allows you to set Birth Date requirements (i.e. born on or after / born on or before, etc…). |
Category | Allows you to set requirements based on Household, Family Member, League and/or Fee Category System Codes. |
Court Usage | Allows you to usage limitations/fees for Court Usage based on Court Usage System Codes. |
Current Item | Ensures the Current Item being added to the Shopping Cart matches the Criteria and, if so, charges the Fee or applies the Rule. For Example: You might set up a Discount Fee for Inventory Category "Loudmouth Shirts." When adding items to the Shopping Cart, any inventory item linked to the Loudmouth Shirts" Category would have the discount applied. |
Custom | Criteria designed to meet a specific need.

Days and Time | Allows you to set requirements based on Maximum or Minimum Number of Days Before an Item Begin Date or After the Transaction Date. Cutoff Time on Last Day also available. |
Days From | Allows you to set requirements based on the Number of Days Before or After a set date or the actual date (i.e. Reservations cannot be made less than 14 days in advance of "today" or patrons enrolling in a program more than seven (7) days after the start date may be subject to a late registration fee.) |
Features | Allows you to set requirements based on Household, Family Member, Locker and/or Rental Feature System Codes. |
Fee Code | Allows you to set requirements based on Fee System Codes. |
Gender | Allows you to set requirements based on Gender System Codes. |
Golf Course | Allows you to set requirements based on Golf Course Codes for a specific course or courses. |
Grade | Allows you to set requirements based on a Family Member's school Grade. |
Guest Household | Allows you to set allowances or restrictions or fees specific to your RecTrac Guest/Daily Household. If the Guest/Daily Household is selected in for a transaction, any Fees or Rules associated with this criterion come into effect. |
Headcount | Allows you to set requirements based on a number of participants. |
Hours From | Allows you to set requirements based on the Number of Hours Before or After a set date or the actual date (i.e. Tee Times cannot be made less than 24 hours in advance of "today.") |
Household Balance | Allows you to set requirements based on a Household's balance. Balance can be module-specific or total. |
Household Income | Allows you to base Fees on Household Income. An Income Range can be entered using the Direct Income Option or it can be Category based, where the household income is derived from the linked Income Category System Code.
Note: Family Income must be added as a field in Household Update. Typically you will place this field on the Financial Info tab. This requires a Custom Screen Design.

Interface Limit | Allows you to set transaction limits based on interface type (i.e. WebTrac/RecTrac). Transaction limits can be tracked by household and/or by guest (For Example: Maximum of four (4) ticket sales per household or guest to <x> event). This criterion type is valid for the following modules only: Activity, POS, League, and Trip. |
Interface Type | Allows you to set requirements based on interface type being used (RecTrac, WebTrac, Mobile RecTrac, Mobile WebTrac, or Application Program Interface) |
Internal Household | Allows you to set allowances or restrictions or fees specific to your Internal Household, as defined on your Daily Processing profile. If the Internal Household is selected in for a transaction, any Fees or Rules associated with this criterion come into effect. |
Item Begin Holiday | Allows you to set requirements based on whether the beginning date of an item falls on a Holiday (i.e. You disallow reservations to begin on a Holiday, if used in a Rule; or you charge a <x> amount for reservations that begin on a Holiday, if used in a Fee). |
Item Begin Weekday | Allows you to set requirements based on the day of the week (i.e. You only allow reservations to begin on Mondays or Fridays, if used in a Rule; or you charge a 20% premium for campground rentals on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays so any rental beginning on those days of the week are subject to the premium rate, if used in a Fee). |
Item Date | Allows you to set requirements based on the day of the year (i.e. Potter Park Ice Arena will be closed Monday, December 8th for maintenance or "Admission is Free Day" on Thursday July 18th). |
Item Date Range | Allows you to set requirements based on a range of dates (i.e. Potter Park will be closed Monday, December 8th through Thursday, December 11th for maintenance so no reservations are allowed, if used in a Rule; or patrons will be charged <x> amount for Pavilion reservations at Potter Park if the reservation falls within the date range, if used in a Fee). |
Item Date/Time | Allows you to set requirements based on the day of the year and the time of the day. |
Item End Holiday | Allows you to set requirements based on whether the ending date of the item falls on a Holiday. See Item Begin Holiday above. |
Item End Weekday | Allows you to set requirements based on the ending time of a day of the week See Item Begin Weekday above. |
Item Holiday | Allows you to set requirements based on whether the day is a Holiday (i.e. your department is closed on New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas day, so classes do not meet, facilities are closed, employees do not work, etc…, if used in a Rule; or you charge <x< amount for reservations on a Holiday, if used in a Fee). |
Item Holiday Date Range | Allows you to set requirements based on a range of Holiday Dates (i.e. Walden Pond Campground is open annually from Memorial Day through Columbus Day, if used in a Rule; or POS items are 20% off from Thanksgiving through Christmas, if used in a Fee). |
Item Month | Allows you to set requirements based on months of the year (i.e. Pavilions are closed from November through April, so no rentals are allowed, if used in a Rule; or you charge <x> amount for Campsite reservations during the Summer Months (June - August), if used in a Fee). |

Item Weekday | Allows you to set requirements based on a day of the week (i.e. Pavilions are closed for maintenance on Mondays, so no rentals are allowed, if used in a Rule; or you charge <x> amount for Pavilions reservations on Mondays, if used in a Fee). |
League Prerequisite | Allows you to list Leagues a Team must have joined prior to being allowed to register for the current League. |
Length in Days | Allows you to set requirements by number of days greater than or less than. |

Location | Allows you to set requirements based on Location. |
Locker Prerequisite | Allows you to list types, codes, or categories of Lockers/Locker Rooms a family member or household must have rented prior to being allowed to rent the current Locker or from the current Locker Room. |
Minimum Golfers | Allows you to set the minimum golfers required to book a Tee Time. System offers the option to fill remaining slots with single golfers, if desired (i.e. your Minimum Golfers = 2, but you allow up to four (4) players per Tee Time. Slots 3 & 4 could be filled by single golfers). |
Oversell Inventory | Allows you to determine whether overselling of inventory is allowed. |
Override Price | Allows you to override prices in Touch POS. |
Pass Prerequisite | Allows you to list types, codes, or categories of passes a family member or household must have purchased prior to being allowed to purchase the current item, such as another pass or an enrollment into an activity, or a locker rental, etc…. |
Sports Physical Item Date | Allows you to set criteria based on the date in the Family Member's Last Physical field with regard to the begin date of an item. For Example: To enroll into Youth Baseball, participants must have a valid Physical with a date within 180 days of the start date, which is 28 May. |
Sports Physical Transaction Date | Allows you to set criteria based on the date in the Family Member's Last Physical field with regard to the transaction date. For Example: To enroll into Youth Baseball, participants must have a valid Physical with a date within 180 days of the date on which the transaction is processed. |
Transaction Date | Allows you to determine whether transactions will be allowed on the selected date. |
Transaction Date/Time | Allows you to determine whether or not transactions will be allowed on or before/on or after the selected date and time. |
Transaction Date/Time Range | Allows you to set a date/time range during which transactions will be allowed. |
Transaction Holiday | Allows you to determine whether transactions will be allowed on the selected Holiday (i.e. your department is closed on New Year's Day. Can a patron using WebTrac register for an activity?). |
Transaction Time | Allows you to determine whether transactions will be allowed on or before/on or after a certain time of day. |
Transaction Weekday | Allows you to determine whether transactions will be allowed on the selected days of the week. |
Visit Late Pick Up | Designed for use with the CYMS module, this criterion allows you to charge a fee at Visit Swipe Out (Pass Visit Processing) when an individual is being signed out after a set time. For Example: The Child Development Center closes at 6:00pm. Parents who pick their children up (i.e. sign their children out of care) after 6:00pm will be charged a fee.
Note: This criteria is specific to Fees and Pass Visit Processing. It should not/cannot be used as a Rule, and should not/cannot be used for Fees linked to a module other than Pass Visit Processing.

Visit Type | Visit Type Criteria are used in CYMS and provide a means for you to choose the type of Visit for which a child is being signed into a day care center. Typically a CYMS Visit will be one of the following: Full Time, Hourly1, and Hourly2. Visit Type Codes are maintained in System Code Management. |
