The CYMS Staff Management program allows you to add new, update existing, and delete CYMS Staff Members for use with the CYMS Module. The program also allows you to add and update various record codes for your Staff Members, both individually and in bulk.

Staff (CYStaffMain_DataGrid)
The CYMS Staff Member Management DataGrid lists all the CYMS Staff Members in your database that you have permission to view. Scroll up/down to view the CYMS Staff Member records or scroll left/right to view additional details.
DataGrid column sort options allow you to customize the view as desired. Click here for a full description of RecTrac DataGrids.
Buttons on the screen…
Click Add to continue to the CYMS Staff Member Update screen to create a new CYMS Staff Member.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Change to continue to the CYMS Staff Member Update screen to update information for an existing CYMS Staff Member.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Delete to remove it from the database.
To exit this program click 'X' on the title bar. You will be returned to the Main Menu or the previous program.
DeleteRecord Type (CYStaffMain_SAMiscCodeToShow)
Expand the Drop-down list to select the Record Type with which you wish to work. Upon making a selection, a DataGrid will appear with the heading of the Record Type you selected. For Example: If you select Staff Training in this field, then the Staff Training Records" DataGrid will appear. From the resulting DataGrid you can add update and/or delete records of the type selected to one or multiple Staff Members.

The Date Option Fields at the Bottom of the Screen
The two (2) Date Option fields at the bottom of the screen work together and can be used to filter the DataGrid by missing dates. This is a good option when working with Records that have Due Dates and Completed Dates.
- If you make a selection in the top field then you also need to make a selection in the bottom field.
- If you leave the top field at its default "(0) Selected then the bottom field is skipped.
Click the Combo Box icon for Only Show <X> Records if the Following Dates are Empty and make a selection, if desired.

Expand the Drop-down list for Date Option and make a selection.
- All Dates Missing - The DataGrid will populate with records of the type selected that have ALL Dates missing of the codes selected in the field above. For Example: You are working with Staff Training Codes. In the Only Show… field, you have Completed Date" and "Due Date." With "All Dates Missing" selected here the DataGrid will populate with Training Codes linked to Staff Members that do not any Dates linked.
- One Date Missing The DataGrid will populate with records of the type selected that have ONE Date missing of the codes selected in the field above. For Example: You are working with Staff Training Codes. In the Only Show… field you have "Completed Date" and "Due Date." With "One Date Missing" selected here the DataGrid will populate with Training Codes linked to Staff Members that do not have both Dates filled in. So a Staff Member linked to a Training Code with a Due Date but no Completed Date will appear in the DataGrid.
SAMiscData Data Grid (CYStaffMain_SAMiscDataDataGrid)
The SAMisc Data DataGrid displays once you have made a selection in the Record Type field. The DataGrid Header is the Record Type you selected. For Example: If you select Staff Training in this field, then the Staff Training Records" DataGrid will appear.

Highlight/select one or multiple Staff Members from the Staff DataGrid and click Add Record to Selected Staff
THEN
Decide whether you wish to add a single record of the type selected or multiple records of the type selected. You will continue the Update Screen for the record type you selected.
Highlight/select a single existing code in the DataGrid above and click Change. You will continue the Update Screen for the record you selected.
Highlight/select one or multiple existing codes in the DataGrid above and click Bulk Change. You will continue to the Bulk Update Screen for the record type(s) you selected.
Highlight/select an existing code in the DataGrid above and click Delete to remove the record from the Staff Member.
Highlight/select an existing code in the DataGrid above and click View Document.
- If the record has a document attachedthen that document will preview in your browser.
- If the record does not have a document linked then the system will alert you.
Show Record With These Missing Dates (CYStaffMain_MissingDatesToShow)
