The Leave Time Management program allows you to add, change, delete and view staff member's leave time accrued and taken. Once a record is established in the DataGrid, the system will update it. Alternatively, you can update records in the DataGrid manually, if needed.
Each employee should have as many leave listing records as they have different types of leave. For Example: You have separate Leave Codes for "Vacation," "Sick," and "Holiday." Each employee should have three (3) records in the DataGrid, one for each Leave Code..
Note: Field names on the screen with red labels* are required by the screen design you are using. Mandatory fields in the default Vermont Systems design are noted where appropriate. Your design and mandatory fields may vary.
From the bottom of the screen…
Click Save to save changes. You will return to the previous screen.
Click Cancel to return to the previous screen without saving changes.

Staff Code (PRLeave_StaffCode)
If you are creating a new Leave Management record, then click the Picklist icon to select the staff member for whom this record is being created. This is a mandatory field for the standard VSI Design. Your Design may vary.
If you are updating an existing Leave Management record then you will not visit this field.
Staff Members are maintained in Labor Management.
DeletePayroll Code (PRLEAVE_PayrollCode)
If you are creating a new Leave Management record for a staff member, then expand the Drop-down list to select the Payroll Code that corresponds to the type of Leave for which this record is being created. This is a mandatory field for the standard VSI Design. Your Design may vary.
If you are updating an existing Leave Management record then you will not visit this field.
Payroll Codes are maintained in Payroll Code Management.
DeleteAccrual Code (PRLEAVE_AccrualCode)
Click the Picklist icon to select the Accrual Code you wish to use for this staff member to accrue time for the selected Payroll Code under this Leave record.
Leave Accrual Codes are maintained in Leave Time Accrual Code Management.
DeleteTime Accrued (PRLEAVE_AccruedTime)
Enter the amount of Leave time, based on your Unit, year-to-date that this staff member has accrued for the selected Payroll Code. The system will maintain this field once it is setup
DeleteTime Taken (PRLEAVE_TimeTaken)
Enter the amount of Leave time, based on your Unit, year-to-date that this staff member has taken for the selected Payroll Code. The system will maintain this field once it is setup
DeleteTime Scheduled (PRLEAVE_TimeScheduled)
Enter the amount of Leave time, based on your Unit, year-to-date that this staff member has scheduled for the selected Payroll Code. The system will maintain this field once it is setup
DeleteTime Remaining (PRLEAVEUpdate_TimeRemaining)
You will not visit this field.
This field displays the Leave Time Remaining for the selected employee and Accrual Code.
DeleteLast Accrual Date (PRLEAVE_LastAccrualDate)
Click the Calendar icon to select the date on which Leave was last accrued for the selected staff member. The system will maintain this field once it is setup.
DeleteUnit (PRLeave_Unit)
Expand the Drop-down list to select the Time Unit by which this staff member accrues Leave time for the selected Payroll Code under this Leave record.
Time Unit Codes are maintained in Unit Management. Type = "Time."
