When updating an existing Set, the browser will be populated by all linked Fees, Rules, or Questions that have been added to the Set with which you are working. By default, Control Buttons appear for the following:
- Add
- Change
- Delete
- Clone
- Advanced Add/Change
- Export Rules
- Import Rules
Click the appropriate Button as needed.
Note: Fee/Rule Default Record Permissions determine whether or not you receive a Default Record Add pop-up message upon clicking an Add button.
If you receive the pop-up message, you have Permissions to add "Regular" Fee/Rule Records and Default Fee/Rule Records to your database. Expand the Drop-down list and make your selection:
- If you have a Default Fee(s)/Rule(s) established in your database, you may opt to use it, if desired.
- If you do NOT have a Default Fee(s)/Rule(s) established in your database, VSI recommends choosing --New Blank Record-- as that option will create a new Fee.
If you do NOT receive the pop-up, you do NOT have Permissions to add Default Fee/Rule Records to your database. You will be adding a new Record only.
Fee/Rule Default Record Permissions are maintained on your Permissions profile • Default Record Permissions group. Default Fees/Rules are maintained in Fee and Rule Management respectively.

SASETSUpdate_Tab1
Description (SASETS_Description)
Enter a Description for this Set. This field will accept up to 100 alpha-numeric characters. This is a mandatory field for the default VSI RecTrac Design. Your Design and setup may vary.
DeleteRecord Type (SASETS_RecordType)
Expand the Drop-down list and select the type of Set you wish to create.
- Fee Set
- Rule Set
- Question Set
If you are updating an existing Set, you will not be allowed to modify this field.
DeletePermissions (SASETS_Permissions)
Click the Picklist icon to select the Permissions Codes you wish to apply to this Set Code.
Permissions allow you to control which users can view, add, modify, and/or delete records on browsers and picklists, etc. These are called Access Rights and they are maintained on the Table Permissions tab of the Permissions profile
Note: You can leave this field blank if desired. When this field is blank the system skips the Permissions check for this record. In that event all users will have access to this record provided their Access Rights for the module allow for it.
Active? (SASETS_Active)
Enable this option to make the Set active or disable it, if desired. Inactive Sets cannot be used.
