The Tax Table Core Settings screen is where you link tax rates to your tax table records. You can link an unlimited number of tax rates to a single Tax Table, if desired.
Note: Field names on the screen with red labels* are required by the screen design you are using. Mandatory fields in the default Vermont Systems design are noted where appropriate. Your design and mandatory fields may vary.
From the bottom of the screen....
Click Save to save your changes. You will be returned to the previous screen.
Click Cancel to return to the previous screen without saving any changes.

Description (SATAXTABLE_Description)
Enter a description for your tax rate. This field will accept up to 100 alpha-numeric characters.
For Example: State Sales Tax
DeleteTax Percent (SATAXTABLE_TaxPercent)
Enter the tax rate percentage in this field. Tax may be entered up to the hundredth of a percent, as up to 4 decimal places are allowed (one hundredth of a percent = .01% or 0.0001). Full percentage tax rates start on the left-hand side of the decimal.
For Example: a 5% tax would be entered as 5.0000. A 5.5% tax would be entered as 5.5000, etc....
DeleteGL Code (SATAXTABLE_GLCode)
Click the Picklist icon to select the General Ledger Code (GL Code) to which you wish to post tax revenue for this Tax Rate. This is a mandatory field for the default VSI RecTrac Design. Your Design and setup may vary.
DeleteCost Center (SATAXTABLE_CostCenter)
Click the Picklist icon to select the Cost Center to which you wish to post tax revenue for this Tax Rate, if desired.
DeleteReceivable Cost Center (SATAXTABLE_ReceivableCostCenter)
If you are running in a Receivables environment, click the Picklist icon to select the Receivables offset Cost Center to which you wish to post, if desired.

If you are running in a Receivables environment, click the Picklist icon to select the General Ledger Code (GL Code) to which you will post offset receivables.

This field displays the RecTrac Table to which this tax rate record is linked.
