Add Waitlist feature to Facilities

Problem
We want to enable the waitlist option for a facility and send an email to staff when the facility becomes available.
Solution
You can update a facility from Facility Management and toggle on "Allow Waitlist?" to enable a waitlist for that facility. You can then create an email feature on the same facility to automatically email staff based on your chosen transaction triggers.
Steps For Solution
To allow a waitlist for a facility:
- From the RecTrac main menu, go to Facility Management.
- Highlight the Facility you wish to enable a waitlist, from the DataGrid.
- Click Change.
- In the Additional Settings group, toggle on the Allow Waitlist? setting.
To email staff when a transaction occurs for this facility:
- Then in the same facility, click Email Features.
- Click Add to create an email notification to be sent out.
- Select the type of transaction you want to link as a trigger for this email to be sent under Transaction types (Cancellation, Cancellation with Waitlist, Permits, Reservation, Waitlist).
5. You can link staff emails in the Staff Contact List setting, or any other emails you may want this email to be received by in the Free Form Contact List. - Click Save to save the Email Feature.
- Click Save to save the Facility record.
Your Facility should now allow a waitlist and next time a transaction meets your chosen transaction type an email will be sent to the corresponding staff members.
