3.1 Clerks Cannot Print Passes, but Managers Can
Problem
Our clerks cannot print passes, but managers can.
From Household Management, the clerk clicks Pass Print, selects the pass to print and clicks Continue. The Please Wait animation appears and disappears.
Normally this is when a Printing Passes information box briefly shows, but this box does not come up.
This started occurring when the 3.1.4.21 build was applied.
Solution
This turned out to be a Permissions issue. When linked to the Pool Clerk permissions profile, you could not print passes. When linked to the Admin permissions profile, passes were printing.
To resolve:
1 Go to Management > System Management > Profile Management.
2 Double-click the Pool Clerk permissions profile in the datagrid.
3 On the Table Permissions tab, find the function type Maintenance View for the data table PMPass. Highlight that row and click the Change button.
4 Change the Access Rights from None to Administrator, and click Save and then click Save again to leave the Pool Clerk permissions profile.
