The Activity Schedule Update screen allows you to add or update:
- Custom schedule dates. Any dates entered for this purpose override days/dates/times entered on the previous screen.
- Holiday dates to an existing schedule. Any date entered as a Holiday date is viewed as a "skip date" for the program.
Note: Field names on the screen with red labels* are required by the screen design you are using. Mandatory fields in the default Vermont Systems design are noted where appropriate. Your design and mandatory fields may vary.
From the bottom of the screen…

ARSCHEDULEUpdate_Tab1
Facility Combo Key (ARSCHEDULE_FacilityComboKey)
Leave this field blank to accept the Facility Combo Key being used on the Section you are updating
OR
Click the Picklist icon to select an alternate Facility for this custom schedule, if desired.
IF adding a System Holiday Skip Date leave this field blank.
IF adding a Custom Schedule date, VSI recommends linking a Facility Combo Key.
DeleteMeeting Date (ARSCHEDULE_MeetingDate)
Select the date for this Custom Schedule or Holiday. This is a mandatory field for the default Vermont Systems design. Your design and setup may vary.
DeleteHoliday? (ARSCHEDULE_Holiday)
Select this option if the date being added is considered a Holiday date for this program. When added as a Holiday this date will print on receipts and other class information as a skip date" for the activity section with which you are working.
If the date being added is NOT a Holiday RecTrac assumes you are adding a Custom Schedule date. Any dates NOT added as Holiday dates supersede/will be used in place of any existing meeting dates on the Section.
For Example: In Section Update your days of the week and time are Monday and Wednesday from 7:00-8:30pm. The program meets during May and June. You know that May 16th will be a "skip date." Using this program you enter May 16 but fail to select the Holiday? check box. When you exit this program the Activity will have exactly one (1) Meeting Day: May 16 because RecTrac assumes you are creating a custom schedule and therefore skips the meeting dates and times in Section Update. To avoid this scenario you would enter May 16 in this program and select the Holiday? check box even though it is NOT an actual "Holiday" on your calendar.
