BulkUnsoldTicketPrint Help
Learn how to print bulk unsold tickets quickly and easily.
The Bulk Unsold Ticket Print program is used to print unsold POS Tickets, either serialized or non-serialized. This program allows you to select active or inactive tickets.
Before running this program, please note the following important limitations:
- This program DOES NOT update the Ticket Status, meaning you can still sell (and print) unsold tickets from RecTrac after they have been printed here.
- This program WILL NOT update the 'Ticket Printed' flag, either, because that field exists on the POS History table, and no history exists for these tickets because they are have not been sold. Tickets, therefore, can be printed many times over.
- If your Template includes Household/Family Member fields (Household First/Last Name, for example), then that information will NOT print on the Tickets using this program. Since the tickets were not sold, there is no household information to print.
- The same is true for any POS History fields on your Template.
-
To Run the Bulk Unsold Ticket Print Program
- Go to Ticket Management and ensure you have a valid Ticket Template linked to your Ticket Code(s).
- The Ticket Template MUST be a POS Ticket Record Type.
- The Ticket Template MUST be linked in the Ticket Template RecTrac field.
- Link your tickets to a POS Ticket Record Type Template. Do not use the Template Design Studio "Unsold Ticket" Template. The "Unsold Ticket" template is a legacy option that is required to convert RecTrac Databases from 10.3 to 3.1. It is not used in RecTrac 3.1.
- Go to the Bulk Unsold Ticket program and select the Tickets you wish to print. You may use any combination of DataGrid, Range, Ticket Categories, Types, and Sub-Types.
- Determine whether you wish to print Active Tickets, Inactive Tickets or both. At least one of these options needs to be selected.
- Click Process. The program runs on the AppServer. The Notification Center will alert you when the process completes and a .pdf preview will appear showing the tickets that have been printed.
- Optional: Go to the Document Center to print the tickets, if desired. File Name=Bulk Unsold Ticket Printyyyymmdd-xxxxx.pdf, where yyyymmmdd is "today's" date and xxxxx is a random character string.
- Go to Ticket Management and ensure you have a valid Ticket Template linked to your Ticket Code(s).

Core Criteria
Ticket Codes (PSTicketMain_TicketCode_DataGrid)

Highlight/select individual ticket codes, as needed, from the DataGrid. Multiple selection is allowed.
OR
Select the Use Ticket Code Range option.
THEN
Input the range of ticket codes you wish to include.Make selections in the DataGrid or use a Ticket Code Range or Both. Leaving the DataGrid blank and the Use Range option deselected will result in no ticket codes being selected.

DeleteUse Ticket Range (PSTicketMain_TicketCode_UseRange)
This field appears in numerous programs. Its functionality may vary.
Select this option to limit your selection to a range of POS Tickets.
THEN
Enter the range of POS Ticket Codes.
OR
Leave this option deselected to skip the POS Ticket Code Range check and make selections from the DataGrid if applicable.- If there is a DataGrid for this program - In instances where you have a DataGrid and corresponding range a selection in one or the other (or both) is required. Selecting nothing from the DataGrid and nothing from the Range yields a blank report or process.
- If there is not a DataGrid for this program - In instances where you don't have a DataGrid a selection here is not required. Leaving this option deselected skips this filter and results in all Codes being included.

THEN
Choose your Wildcard Equals Option, if applicable.See also: RecTrac Wildcarding.
DeleteWildcard Option (PSTicketMain_TicketCode_Equals_Option)
Select your Wildcard Option for this process:
- Equals - The process will return a list of all records that equal the value entered. This must be an exact match. For Example: If this was a list of Family Members, entering 'Grace Somersby' would find 'Grace Somersby' because it is an exact match, but it would NOT find 'Grace J. Somersby' because it is not an exact match.
Note: When running Reports you can use a comma-delimited list (with no spaces) in the corresponding Wildcard field when your Wildcard Option is Equals. This applies to Reports only. For Example: Entering "48116 5851 88003" in a Zip Code Wildcard field on a Report and using the Equals Option would yield results from those three separate Zip Codes.
- Begins - The process will return a list of all records that begin with the value entered. Wildcarding asterisks/periods are not needed. For Example: If this was a list of Family Members entering 'Gr' would find all members whose name begins with 'Gr ' such as Grace Somersby but it would NOT find Ginny Weasley because her name begins with 'Gi.'
- Ends - The process will return a list of all records that end with the value entered. Wildcarding asterisks/periods are not needed. For Example: If this was a list of Family Members entering 'by' would find all members whose name ends with 'by ' such as Grace Somersby but it would NOT find Sam McGee because his name ends with 'ee.'
- Matches - The process will return a list of all records where a value match can be found. Wildcarding and asterisks/periods must be used. For Example: If this was a list of Family Members entering '*om*' (asterisks must be included) would find Grace Somersby and Tom Sawyer because "om" appears in both names but it would NOT find Felicity Lemon because "om" does not appear anywhere in her name.
