The Lock Management program allows you to add new, update existing, delete, and clone locks. You may set up and track your locks based on their make, serial number and/or combination. You may link your locks to specific lockers using the Locker Management program, during the locker reservation transaction, or by using the Bulk Lock Assignment program. Locks are part of the Locker Module three-part system of locker rooms, lockers, and locks.
For example, the Locker Module's first component is the locker room. You may have a "Women's Locker Room" and a "Men's Locker Room." Within these locker rooms, multiple lockers may exist. Lockers in different locker rooms may have the same number. You may have locker number "00001" in the "Women's Locker Room" and locker number "00001" in the "Men's Locker Room." Each locker may optionally be assigned a permanent lock or you may link a removable lock to the locker in the locker room during the locker rental process.

Buttons on the screen…
Click Add to continue to the Lock Update screen where you can create a new Lock.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Change to go to the Lock Update screen where you can make changes.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Clone to go to the File Maintenance Clone program where you can clone the selected Lock.
Select/Highlight a record in the DataGrid and click More • Audit Info to continue to the Audit Log Inquiry program for that particular record. The Audit Log Inquiry screen is "read only" and displays all file management updates to the record you selected.
Note: This button is available only on the true File Management Main DataGrid to which it is linked. For example if you are running an activity report and click the Picklist icon to select a range of activity sections you will not see this button on the Activity Section Management DataGrid that appears. However if you go to the actual Activity Section Main File Management DataGrid then you will see it.
Note: This program does not export linked tables so Fees/Rules/Questions do not get exported; this exports only the Management record itself.
Highlight/select an existing record and click More • Delete to remove it from the database.
Note: Locks cannot be assigned to Lockers. They must be un-linked from lockers prior to being deleted.
