Run a GL Report by PayTrac Settlement ID

Problem
We would like the ability to run a GL report by settlement ID to remove the refunds that were processed. How can we get our report to include this information?
Solution
Update the GL Distribution screen design to include the field for settlement ID.
Steps For Solution
- From the RecTrac main menu, go to Profile Assignments.
- Expand the Linked Profiles and locate your User.
- Highlight the Screen Design profile linked to the user's hierarchy.
- Click Update.
- Identify the Default Design code that is selected for this profile.
- Click Save.
- From the RecTrac main menu, go to Report Screen Management.
- Click Add.
- Set Base Screen to GL Distribution Report.
- Check the box to Use the Base Screen Name for the Name of this Report.
- Select the Design code as determined in step 5.
- Click Continue.
- Under Available Fields, locate the field with the label Settlement ID.
- Drag and drop this field from Available Fields to an appropriate section under Fields On Screen.
- Note: The Settlement ID field might fit best nestled in the Group for Transaction Criteria, however, it can be added anywhere you prefer and still be functional when running your report.
- Click Done.
Next time a user linked to the identified Screen Design code runs a GL Distribution Report, they will be able to use the Settlement ID criterion.
