?VSI-PageTitle? shows in browser tab for WebTrac
WebTrac will not open
Problem
Users cannot get the WebTrac Splash page or any WebTrac page to display. All Servers and services appear to be running.
Tab in browser shows <?VSI-PageTitle?> and a blank page is displayed.
Solution
This is a defect in Progress 11
Fully hosted customers are not impacted
Quick fix is to stop your Webspeed broker in the OpenEdge Explorer on the RecTrac database server. Restart the "WebLive" or whichever broker is not bringing up the page. A server reboot (database/transaction server) will also temporarily correct but is not necessary if you restart the broker.
Long term fix is to work with VS support to update Progress level on one server.
