Hide Unused Search Types on WebTrac
RecTrac 3.1.10.17.02
Table of Contents
Problem
On our WebTrac Search screens, we have too many options listed under the type criteria fields. We want to hide some options for patrons to have a more streamlined experience while searching.
Solution
You can make those types hidden in WebTrac by going to System Code Management, locating the type(s) you want to hide, and changing the Interface Type setting from either All or WebTrac to RecTrac.
Steps For Solution
- Go to System Code Management.
- In the System Codes datagrid, filter and search the type(s) (i.e. Activity type, facility type, pass type, etc.).
- Highlight the type you want to hide from the DataGrid.
- Click Change.
- Under Additional Settings, change Interface Type to RecTrac if you want the type hidden on the web.
- Click Save.
- Repeat for additional types.
Return to the appropriate WebTrac Search screen, click refresh, and the module types with an Interface Type of RecTrac will no longer display on the web.
