The Bulk Web Settings Change program allows you to change the Display status (Yes - Display it / No- Don't Display it) for Activities, Leagues and/or Trips based on Beginning and/or Ending Ranges and Beginning and Ending Dates. This program can be run "on demand" as needed or you can Schedule it to run at regular periodic intervals.
This program offers a fast and easy way to list upcoming programs, leagues, and trips in WebTrac in advance of or during a registration period or to suppress them from view when you no longer want patrons to see them.
To Run the Bulk Web Settings Change Program
- Click the Combo Box icon and select your Process Option(s): Activity, League, POS Tickets, and/or Trip. Multiple selection is allowed.
- For the Process Options selected, enter your Begin/End Ranges on the second row.
- Enter a Date Range

Expand the Drop-down list and select your Date Option.- Begin Dates - Anything within your Process Options selections with a BEGIN date within your Date Range will be included in the Bulk Change.

End Dates - Anything within your Process Options and range selections with an END date within your Date Range will be included.
For Example: You select a range of Activity Sections and enter a Date Range of 05/15/20xx - 07/14/20xx. You select Begin Dates. When you Process the Bulk Change, all Activities in your range with a BEGINNING date that falls between May 15 and July 14 will be updated, so a program starting on 07 July and ending on 31 August would be updated but a program starting on 07 April and ending on 31 May would not.
- Determine whether you wish to Change Display on Web Settings. Generally speaking, you will enable this option, as it is what the program does.
- Expand the Drop-down listand make your Display Setting choice.
- Yes - Yes. Display on WebTrac. If you are getting ready for a registration period, you would select this option to have your applicable Activities, Trips, Leagues, and Tickets display on WebTrac.
- No - No. Do NOT display this on WebTrac. You would select this option if your registration period has closed and you no longer wish to display the applicable Activities, Trips, Leagues, and Tickets on WebTrac.
- Click Process to run the Bulk Web Settings Change program. The process runs on the AppServer. The Notification Center will alert you when it completes.
- Changes take effect immediately and will be realized upon a patron's next entry to a WebTrac page or upon a hard refresh from the current page. For Example: Patrons dwelling on the Activity Search page will not see changes until they leave the Search page and return to it or until they perform a hard refresh of the Search page. A hard refresh can be affected in most browsers by pressing <CTRL> + F5 on the keyboard.
From the bottom of the screen….
Click Process to run the Bulk Web Settings Change program. This program runs on the Event AppServer. The Notification Center will alert you when it completes.
Click Schedule to have this process run at regular intervals. You will continue to the Schedule Generator screen.

This program is designed to build the screen dynamically based on the Modules you select (Activity, League, etc…). For every Module that is selected, filters specific to that Module are added to the screen.

Expand the Drop-down list and select your Date Option. Only those records with dates that match your selections will be updated.
- Begin Dates - Anything within your Process Options selections with a BEGIN date within your Date Range will be included in the Bulk Change.
- End Dates - Anything within your Process Options and range selections with an END date within your Date Range will be included.
Examples
- Begins Date Example: - You select a range of Activity Sections and enter a Date Range of 05/15/20xx - 07/14/20xx. You select Begins Dates. When you Process the Bulk Change, all Activities in your Begin/End Section range with a BEGINNING date between May 15 and July 14 will be updated. No other records will be updated. So a Section that BEGINS on 17 March and ENDS on 08 May will NOT be included in the update because the Beginning Date is outside of your Date Range. A Section that BEGINS on 07 July and ENDS on 28 August will be included because the Beginning Date is within your Date Range.
- Ends Date Example: - You select a range of Activity Sections and enter a Date Range of 05/15/20xx - 07/14/20xx. You select End Dates. When you Process the Bulk Change, all Activities in your Begin/End Section range with an ENDING date between May 15 and July 14 will be updated. No other records will be updated. So a Section that BEGINS on 17 March and ENDS on 08 May will be included in the update because the Ending Date falls within your Date Range. A Section that BEGINS on 07 July and ENDS on 28 August will not be included because the Ending Date is outside your Date Range.
Change Display On Web Settings (BulkWebSettingsChange_ChangeWebDisplay)
Select this option to have the system change the Web Display Setting to your Change Display Setting To value when this program is run. Generally speaking, you will enabled this option, as it is the purpose of the program.

Expand the Drop-down list and make your Display Setting choice.
- Yes - Yes. Display on WebTrac. If you are getting ready for a registration period, you would select this option to have your applicable Activities, Trips, Leagues, and Tickets display on WebTrac.
- No - No. Do NOT display this on WebTrac. You would select this option if your registration period has closed and you no longer wish to display the applicable Activities, Trips, Leagues, and Tickets on WebTrac.
