In this video, we will review common registration date setup scenarios, and every customer is different but hopefully this will give you some options to consider and discuss in more detail with your implementation consultant. In many cases program registration dates run on a seasonal basis. For example, all your spring programs open up for registration on a particular date. And typically, the registration cutoff dates may vary depending on the program. So some programs might cut off before the program begins, while others continue through until the end of the program. Now often we can accommodate these exceptions by using dynamic criteria which allow us to set up those fees at the season level. So why the season level this would allow you to manage and adjust those four times a year in one place. Now every section in the database by go into section management is linked to a corresponding season. If I scroll right in here, you'll see a column in this data grid for season. And you can see all these aquatics programs that I'm looking at right now are all tied to the spring season. So if it holds true that these all open up for registration along these programs along with all the other spring 2020 programs, if they open up together, then this would be a great candidate to link these the are these rules for registration dates at that level. So the next step will Build out those rules to show you some options and then show you where to apply them at that season level.
