Problem
Unable to refund a credit card in RecTrac using the PayTrac interface.
When attempting to process the refund, the pin pad profile is associated with a different credit card profile/MID.
Error Message
DeviceInvalidStateException. PIN pad error | WARN:Unable to Cancel Transaction
Solution
Link the proper PatTrac Pin Pad profile and re-run the transaction.
Steps For Solution
- From the RecTrac menu, navigate to Profile Assignments.
- Link the proper PayTrac Pin Pad profile to the workstation/user level.
- Process the refund as normal.
