3.1 Bolt Settings - Issues when the Include Pin option is enabled on Pin Pad Profile
Problem
We had a merchant call in to our CardPointe team recently about some issues with some transactions. The core of the issue has to do with your integration to Bolt. It appears, at least for this MID, that their readCard requests are coming through withwith 'aid':'debit' and 'includePIN':'true'. I apologize, as I realize the developer documentation may have been a little misleading in regards to this. PIN debit is still in the final stages of completion for production support.
To fix this issue, your readCard requests will need to be updated to with 'aid':'debit' and 'includePIN':'false'. This should be done at the earliest possible time to avoid any issues with future transactions.
Since this is so far, the only merchant who has reported this, Im wondering if maybe there is a toggle somewhere in the application to change this already?
Solution
Bolt Settings on the CardConnect Pinpad profile should be as follows:
AID Parameter must be set to Credit
Include Pin option must be toggled off - This is still in development for Card Connect
