How do I access the Help in RecTrac 3.1? The F1 key no longer works that way, like it did in previous versions of RecTrac.
Answer
When you are in a program, field level help is indicated with a lowercase 'i' icon next to every field in a program. Simply mouse-hover over the "i" to read the online help. Likewise, you can click on the "i" to open a new browser and read all the help for the entire program.
If the "i" is not displaying, then you need to engage the Help. To do this, click the Support icon on the lower left hand corner of your RecTrac session. It is located directly above your User ID circle. Click the slide toggle to Enable In-App Help. The dot will move from left to right.
If you do not have a Support icon on your side bar, talk to your RecTrac administrator. The Support option is controlled by permissions. (On the default Vermont Systems design: Permissions profile Button/Misc Permissions tab Interface Settings group Enable VSI Support Link in Application Sidebar option. Your design may vary.)
