Where is BLOB Explorer/RecTrac File Explorer in RecTrac 3.1?
Problem
Where is the BLOB Explorer in RecTrac 3.1?
Where is the RecTrac File Explorer in RecTrac 3.1?
What is the Document Center in RecTrac 3.1?
Solution
The BLOB (Binary Large Object) Explorer was the 10.2 access point to see what documents, files, and images were stored in the BLOB table of the RecTrac database. It was also a way to push out program updates to RecTrac client workstations.
RecTrac File System (RFS) is the 10.3 name for that same structure and capability.
The Document Center is the RecTrac 3.1 name for the access point to see what documents, files, images are stored in the BLOB table of the RecTrac database. Since 3.1 is browser-based, you no longer push programs out to the client workstations so that capability is no longer needed.
1 To go to Document Center, click the printer icon on the top right of the ribbon bar on any page.
2 Choose what Document Type you wish to see in the dropdown list. Your choices are:
All document types
ACH Export File
AR Brochure
Family Member Documents
GL Interface
Household Documents

Receipt Waivers

WebTrac Images
3 Narrow down your selection by entering a date with the calendar widget.
4 You will see your own documents by default, but you can filter the Owner column to see others' documents if you have permissions to do so.
