Where are the Cancel/Change Programs in RecTrac 3.1?
Problem
Where are the Cancel/Change programs in RecTrac 3.1? How do I cancel a reservation, void a sale, change dates on a reservation, etc?
Solution
Separate Cancel/Change programs for each module are no longer needed in 3.1. Global Sales is comprised of daily processes for every module you own. So you have the ability to register, sell, reserve, renew, rent, return, cancel, and change anything, all in one Global Sales program.
In 3.1 Global Sales, after you select a household or family member, click the Purchase History tab. You can see all the purchase history on the screen so if you want to cancel or change something, its right there. Highlight the row you want to cancel or change and click the appropriate button below the datagrid.
After that change is 'in the shopping cart', you can follow up with a purchase, registration, rental, etc, right on the same receipt. Then finish the transaction by going to the Payment/Refund screen.
