What are Transaction Types in RecTrac 3.1? What do they do?
Solution
Transaction Types determine when something happens, such as when a fee gets charged, when a question gets asked, when a rule is applied. The choice of transaction types varies depending on the action happening, such as whether you're linking Fees, Questions, or Rules.
In setting up fees and rules, the field for these types is labeled Transaction Type. However, in setting up questions (on the Question Text Update screen), the transaction types are listed in the field called Question Type.

Book
Cancellation
Change
Evaluation
Incident
Late Payment
Lost Card
Permit
Purchase
Renewal
Rental/Locker Completion
Rental Pending
Rental Return
