Problem
I am trying to use a credit balance to help pay for something in the shopping cart, but I get this message.
'Only $0.00 can be applied to items in your shopping cart. Would you like to only pay this amount?'
What does it mean?
Solution
If you know there is a credit balance on the household, on the Payment/Refund screen click the Use Credit button. This will take you to the Use Credit screen where you will see a list of available credits to use, and which module(s) they may be restricted to. If a credit's module is 'SA', it can be used in any module.
What's happening in your case is that you have a PM registration in your shopping cart, and the credits on the household are restricted to the PSI and PSS modules. Therefore they are not available to use for this sale.
If these restrictions were set up in error, ask a manager to edit the Payment Profile. These fields control where credits are restricted to and where they can be applied:
Default Credit Availability from Cancel/Change - choice of Original Module Only or All Modules
Auto-Use New Credits for these Modules - choice of any or all modules
Auto-Use Existing Credits for these Modules - choice of any or all modules
