Table of Contents
Problem
RecTrac users are receiving a notification related to Active Directory on the RecTrac Login Screen. We do not use Active Directory. How can we prevent this error message from appearing in the future and restore access to the database to our users?
Error Message
"AD No User Record Found"
Solution
Check if the AD settings for the user are blank in User Management. Then check if the SSO profile in Profile Assignment shows the Bypass RecTrac Login toggle disabled.
Steps For Solution
- From the RecTrac main menu, go to User Management.
- Highlight the User experiencing the issue from the DataGrid.
- Click Change.
- Expand the Active Directory Settings group.
- Confirm these fields are blank.
- If there is a value in Network Logon use the drop-down next to Network Logon User List and select - None - to clear the Network Logon field.
- Click Save.
- From the RecTrac main menu, go to Profile Assignments.
- Highlight the active SSO Profile from the DataGrid.
- Click Update.
- Toggle off Bypass RecTrac Login.
- Note: If you do not plan on implementing Active Directory again in the future, consider deleting the Active Directory SSO Profile from Profile Assignments to ensure this toggle does not interfere with staff logins.
Click Save.
Have the user who experienced the issue attempt to log in again. They should be able to log in successfully without seeing the above error message.
