Change Incorrect Question Answer Message Text

Problem
When patrons submit incorrect information to a question, the default message reads “The correct answer was not supplied for the question: <QuestionText>." How can we add our phone number for patrons to call the main office to this message?
Solution
You can do this within Language Code Management.
Steps For Solution
- From the RecTrac main menu, go to Language Code Management.
- Using the DataGrid filter for Phrase ID narrow the results by 989.
- Highlight phrase 989 from the DataGrid
- Click Add.
- Click the pick list icon next to Language Code.
- Click Add.
- Create a new Language Code or highlight an existing one.
- Click Save.
- Change the Phrase to your desired message.
- Click Save.
- From the RecTrac main menu, go to Profile Assignments.
- Select your Screen Design Profile.
- Click Update.
- Under Language select the language code used in step 7.
- Click Save.
Next time a question is answered incorrectly and this phrase gets called, your new message will appear.
