The Equipment Group Management program allows you to add, update, delete, and clone Equipment Group Codes for use with the MainTrac module. Equipment Groups allow you to package pieces of equipment required for a single job. For Example: A Mowing Equipment Group might consist of a Riding Mower, Push Mower, Blower, Truck, and Trailer. When creating a job for Mowing, you can link the Mowing Group instead of having to link the five (5) pieces of equipment separately.

The Equipment Group Management DataGrid contans all Equiipment Group Codes currently in your database that you have Permission to view. Scroll up/down to view all the records. Scroll left/right to view the details.
DataGrid column sort options allow you to customize the view as desired. Click here for a full description of RecTrac DataGrids.
Buttons on the screen…
Click Add to continue to the Equipment Group Update screen to create a new Equipment Group Code.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Change to continue to the Equipment Group Update screen to update information for an existing Equipment Group Code.
Highlight/select an existing record and click More • Delete to remove it from the database.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Clone to continue to the File Maintenance Clone program to clone the selected Equipment Group Code.
Click More • Export to continue to the File Maintenance Export screen where you can select records in the DataGrid to export. The export creates an XML file which can be viewed/saved from the Document Center.
The export/import process provides an easy way to move records between RecTrac databases if necessary.
