The Preventive Maintenance (PM) Code program allows you to add, update, delete, and clone Preventive Maintenance Codes for use with the MainTrac module. PM Codes are used in the system to describe preventive maintenance tasks. They are set up for your Fixed Asset types and are linked to Preventive Maintenance schedules, which prompt Work Orders. The five (5) Fixed Asset types are: Facility, Equipment, Tree, Street, and Utility.

Preventive Maintenance Codes (MTPMCODEMain_DataGrid)
The Preventive Maintenance Codes DataGrid screen lists all the Preventive Maintenance Codes currently in your database. Scroll up/down to view all the records. Scroll left/right to view the details.
DataGrid column sort options allow you to customize the view as desired. Click here for a full description of RecTrac DataGrids.
Buttons on the screen…
Click Add to continue to the PM Code Update screen to create a new Preventive Maintenance Code.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Change to continue to the PM Code Update screen to update information for an existing Preventive Maintenance Code.
Highlight/select an existing record and click More • Delete to remove it from the database.
Highlight/select an existing record and click Clone to continue to the File Maintenance Clone program to clone the selected Code.
Click More • Export to continue to the File Maintenance Export screen where you can select records in the DataGrid to export. The export creates an XML file which can be viewed/saved from the Document Center.
The export/import process provides an easy way to move records between RecTrac databases if necessary.
