Work Code Update program allows you to add or update Work Codes for use with the MainTrac module. Work Codes are used in Payroll Code Update and allow you to classify the type of Work associated with the type of Pay.
Note: Work Code Management does not appear on the MainTrac menus in the standard VSI Design. Work Codes are designed to be added "on the fly" to Payroll Codes.
To access the Work Code main DataGrid, go to Labor Management • Select a Staff ID record and click Change • Click the MainTrac Information tab • Select a record in the Pay Rate Settings DataGrid and click Change Payroll Code • Click the Picklist icon for Work Code.

Work Code (PRWorkCode_WorkCode)
If you are creating a new Work Code, then enter your Work Code in this field. Codes may be alpha and/or numeric. For Example: Regular. This is a mandatory field for the standard VSI Design. Your Design may vary.
If you are updating an existing Work Code then you will not visit this field.

Enter the Descripton for your Work Code. For Example: Regular Work.
