The GL Custom Field Format Rules Update screen allows you to add special calculations or rules that your custom field requires, if any.
Buttons on the screen…
Click Cancel to return to the previous screen without saving your changes.
Click Save to save your changes and return to the previous screen.

Sort (SAGLFieldFormatRule_GLFormatSort)
Enter a numerical value in this screen. The number you enter is the order in which this calculation will be performed, where 1" is the first 2 is the second etc.
DeleteOperation (SAGLFieldFormatRule_GLFormatOperation)
Select your operator for this custom calculation. For example, if this is the first calculation, the operator might be Equal To." If this is the second calculation for your custom field the operator might be "Otherwise.
DeleteCompared To (SAGLFieldFormatRule_ComparedTo)
Enter text or numbers in this field. The values you enter is what you are comparing this calculation to.
DeleteThen Value (SAGLFieldFormatRule_ThenValue)
Enter the result of the calculation. This is the value that is returned when the calculation resolves true. For example, if the Operation is Equal to" when Compared To "08 your Then Value might be something like, 02(Calculated_FiscalYear)" or "Department 8."
You can "hard code" your Then Value by entering the text you want to use. Likewise you can use a database value if desired. In this event select the database value you want to use from the Database Field to Add field and then click Add Database Field to the Then Value
DeleteDatabase Field to Add (SAGLFieldFormatRuleUpdate_AvailableDBFields)
This field allows you to choose a database field as the Then Value for your calculation, if desired. Select the database value you want to use from the and then click Add Database Field to the Then Value
